I can't seem to get the original uncommon gear at all.   Sure, the newer ones, I've got those at V, but I just want the older ones... ok, I just want Sheild Booster... really, last time one of those dropped had to be like 2 months ago.

I mean, it's uncommon right?  Well, it feels more like Rare or Ultra Rare... I know, I know, random store is random, but sheesh!  In the last 5 or so days I've gotten 4 Ultra Rares but only 1 Uncommon Gear.  I bought 15 Veteran packs yesterday, just trying to see if maybe THAT would work.  I got 1 Vulnerability VI 4. One.

Who do I need to sacrifice/sacrifice to in order to get a better drop rate for uncommon gear!  I mean... REALLY!

On the plus side, as soon as I gave up on the vet packs, I picked up an SP... and unlocked Paladin IV.

I know what you mean. I tried buying veteran packs to get gear also, but my uncommon drop always seemed to be level 3 consumables.

Uncommon gear has a lower drop rate than ultra rares. I'm pretty sure that is a fact.

Gears have weird unlock pattern. I mean, weapons you get unlocked for sure. But gears take luck.

The issue stems from the fact that there are 18 consumables that you can get multiple versions in a pack, whereas gear is... Nevermind, there are 15 uncommon gears, so it shouldn't be this hard to get them.

I've spent half a million on a vet pack binge (25 packs) and did not get a single uncommon gear. Now on PSPs, if I'm lucky I'll get a gear in the card left of the two golds.

I seriously hope this DLC has no more uncommon gear. In my experience, they have an equal drop rate with UR (although my drop rate for both is unusually high).

I personally bought spectre packs to max my uncommon gear.

I get most of my uncommon gear from Spectre packs. They hardly seem to drop from Veteran packs for me.

I sometimes get the uncommon gear in Spectre/PSP packs. Only about as often as I get Ultra-rares though. Don't even get the newer rare gear at all.

The drop rates for gear really does suck, hard. Thing is though, people have had this complaint ever since the last DLC, and Bioware have never acknowledged anything to do with it.

For Uncommon Weapons and People, you go with Vet packs
Uncommon Gear seems to show up more in Spectre and PSP's more.

Since the Argus dropped, I have maxed out the Argus, got the Raider to III, added another level to my Scorpion, Black Widow, Paladin, and Wraith, and finally unlocked the Saber (still waiting for Javelin and Harrier, RNG really hates me). Yet since that change a few weeks ago, despite all those weapon unlocks, I have not added to my Gear manifest. Gear drop rates are horribad broken.

I've consistently been finding uncommon gear in spectre packs. They're not as close to being maxed out as my other silver items are, but I typically find them just as often, if not more often, than gold-level gear.

Grab spectre packs. More chances and less cost than a psp. I've unlocked quite a few uncommons since switching from psp to sp, but still nowhere near maxing. Wish they would unlock in vet packs

Most of mine came from regular SP's. As a bonus, you could unlock a rare or UR. I see lots of complaints about this, but I completed mine in only a few days. I guess I was lucky... although I can't think of a time I used any of them. I guess I used the dense ammo sometimes...

Keep going with SP. 2 veteran packs and 1 SP cost the same, so

VET: 3 uncommons, 12 commons
SP: 3 uncommons, 1 rare (or better), 1 common (usually equipment like gels/rockets)

Uncommon Gear seems to have an absurdly low drop-rate from VP's, at least in my experience. I personally would just stick to buying SP's and PSP's, and hope to increase your Gear along the way.

I'm only 7 unlocks away from maxing my Uncommon Gear, and 10 away from maxing the Rare Gear, but of course, with Retaliation coming out this week, that's going to be set back a bit. XD
