Anyone thought the Dragon Age 2 soundtrack just wasn't that good? Minus a few songs, the majority of the soundtrack didn't really have any melody to it.
I'd love for them to make music with elements of emotion and drama. This could be for the likes of character deaths or a sad scene.

I would also love to hear atmospheric tracks like we hear while exploring the wliderness in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.

Tracks like we heard in Dragon Age Origins would also be cool. I loved Leliana's Song from that OST.

I would suggest, that they hire Malukah for the main theme or something like Leliana's song. Her remakes are always beautiful.

When I think about what music dragon age 2 had, I can't remember any. It didn't nail down like mass effect did. Mass effect always had some fitting, epic music in the background.

I like her too. Enjoyed her ME3 tribute.
We had a thread about this other day. Inon Zur does the soundtracks for DA and he said he was rushed for DA2.

I have no idea if he's being handcuffed by Bioware, time constraints, or just doesn't put as much passion behind the projects anymore. He has some excellent songs in the DA games though but overall, I agree, his soundtrack is forgettable. I did like these though:
