I agree that the DAO darkspawn looked much scarier. I actually did laugh out loud when I first saw the DA2 darkspawn! They looked like zombie darkspawn with the white eyes. The rotting pink and brown skin texture in the original is better than the pasty grey skin texture in DA2. I was glad that there weren't very many darkspawn in DA2, I would spend more time being annoyed at how silly they looked than enjoying that part of the game.
If darkspawn are in DA3 please make them look like they did in DAO instead of DA2

I like DA:O's greyish tones. (I'm not an artist) I think that all those green/brown/purple shades looked good and portrayed Darkspawn faces as sick/undead/tainted/horrid. DA2 has to much lighting for that to work properly.
Darkspawns are all about faces (and body build to some extent). Well, you can let them carry a sign "FEALR ME!", but that would be totally different kind of creepy.

The only thing I really want is for them to have their pointed fangs back again, not perfect pearly whites that wouldn't look out of place in a toothpaste commercial.
Maybe more rotted looking skin but that's not really a big deal to me.

I agree completely. Did not like the new Darkspawn look.
While we're at could the elves be made to look a little less rodent-like? I'm okay with the way Fenris and Merill look, but I honestly thought making Tallis look like Felicia Day was a great move, and aesthetically, a step in the right direction. Her look reminded me of the elves in DA:O.

The emissaries would probably look fine (intimidating, even) if they just had closed mouths and normal looking jaws. I dunno whose idea was it that the Gene Simmons thing was intimidating.
