I hate FPS/TPS so I wouldn't play Halo 3 or GOW. Has nothing to do with being a girl.

but you have mass effect 2...

And it will be the only game of that genre that I will play. I got it for the developer and not the battle system. I got the second because I had the first.

I tend to follow developpers too,  have done so over the years.   If I was happy with one of their products,  I was always willing to try the next one.  :)  Well....most times :D

@ Mastice

Okay..here's another answer to add what I've stated already. As a child I was always classed as a "tomboy"...meaning I liked to wrestle with my brother, climb trees and didn't like playing with dolls, much to my mother's chagrin.

I guess I've always been "different". Independent. I do things that interest me, not because society dictates..that because I am female, I must like cooking, washing windows, and changing baby diapers. :P

My friends tend to think of me as a little bit of a rebel..due to how I am I guess. hehe Perhaps there's a few of us "rebel gals" out there on the Net.

The world is changing..and so are we. :P

And everyone should be like you.

Do what they believe and don't care what others think of them.

Well each should be their own person for sure,  and thats basically what I'm all about.  :)

Thanks Eli :)

No problem its true.

I meant they should all be their own person, not all the exact same as you.

I can see how that could get misinterpreted. :)

Its hard to be yourself these days. So much peer pressure and gender roles you have to affirm to.

Ahhh thank goodness...gone are the days where my mother could do similar things to me.  lol

Soon as I left home, short hair became obsolete with me.  :)   She was a hairdresser and tried out all her experiments on me,  sad part about that is having to go to school the next day. ...ugh.

Define Hardcore.

To me "playing hardcore" is also playing games developed by people like Philipe Tibault (Vainglory of Nations) or my other fave game company besides Bioware: Paradox.

I have not to meet a female that plays Europa Universalis or Hearst of Iron.

Hardcore would be sitting straight for 20+ hours. Playing super mario bros, or Grand theft auto without concern for food or washroom breaks

females don't usually play RTS, their brains cannot handle it and not much chance to show off or gain attention from men (usually lack of forums or achievements) online. RTS games are where intelligent men fight each other using tactics and not simple click - reaction gameplay.

Men have 1 connection between their lobes, Women have 2-3. Thus making women MORE SUITED TO PLAY MORE COMPLICATED GAMES if anything. Your blatantly uniformed and sexist post offends me, and I'm a guy. Get off of my planet you worthless sack of flesh.

I actually read somewhere,  don't remember the source, that women are "supposed" to be better at multi-tasking...might just be some sort of urban legend or something though. ;)

This is like saying "more convolutions in the brain = higher intelligence" or "brain weight = intelligence"

lulz

Well it was also mentioned in this same article that I read, that the reason..supposedly that women are better at multi-tasking is due to how many things they normally take on in a day..nurse, cook, maid,  etc. And some have an outside job as well. :P

So like I said, I don't know if there is any proof of this..but interesting to think about anyway.

The good ones blur the line very well.

I like the singer from The Agonist.

The Agonist debut album was s***.  But their second was pretty good, and her chops are pretty intense.

We spend more time logged in because we tend to chat with guild members or even socialize with the rest of the player base more than males. But i can only speak for myself, if it's the case of any MMO, i enjoy getting to know a bit more the person/s I spend time with (even if it's online).

On the other hand, I don't like to clasify anyone as "female/male gamer" when i speak about skill. We are all persons, and as persons we have the same ability to play games. Some might be better than others, but I don't think it's in any way influenced by gender.

My thoughts, anyways.

Aye usually gamer is good enough..most times. :)

when I game I tend to look for solutions before just rushing into combat. I try to make myself one step ahead of my enemy
