Probably not, because if I play SW TOR (yes, I'm still grumping about it not being singleplayer ) I'll be the person playing just a couple of hours an evening (if I like it, perhaps the occasional Saturday afternoon), wandering around looking at stuff, talking to all of the NPCs multiple times, standing in safe areas for long periods of time while I deal with RL issues, and with absolutely no interest in power gaming.  I would think, then, our paths would likely not cross except for the briefest of times, and we'd likely never really 'see' each other.

As far as the topic?  Personally, I don't play a lot of different types of games.   When I do get into a game, I can play straight through for a pretty good chunk of time (I played the ~55 hours of my first KotOR playthrough from the time I got home from work on Friday until I collapsed, victorious, late on Sunday).  However, I fear that I no longer find it worthwhile to frequently sacrifice sleep on the altar of fun, so this will happen only briefly, and usually I'll play the games at a more casual pace.

I've been known to go a day or two..depends on the game,  but I don't do that as much any more, sleep seems more valuable.  hehe

You "just may" see me in Swtor.    I'm kind of revving my engine for that MMO right now.

i can't imagine someone justifying such indulgent gaming behavior without being extremely self absorbed. its not to be rude or making any assumptions about anyone else, but i would say yes, to game as much as i do, being tremendously self absorbed would be a pre-req.

Hmmm I could see that, maybe...if all you played were standalone games, rather than games that require a group or team.

My background is MMOs and pvp.   You have to be in tune with your team mates,  in order to "get er done".   The ones that come off as self-absorbed, generally don't fit in there...they don't follow directions, do things that most times interfere with the team effort...to the point of being annoying enough to boot out of your team.
