A kossith one being a male Mage and one being a female warrior that acted like regular people not like qunari. And a male and female elf (one could be a Mage) 2 or 3 dwarfs one being female. and the rest human and I want someone from the tevinter imperium. I really want a qunari LI.

How about Sten as LI?

I want to see mage companions, to me that's a race. The more mage companions the better, as long as they support mage freedom though.

1 Kossith Saarebas that isn't a Qunari, 1 Keeper, 1 Tevinter mage, 1 mage from the circle, 1 appostate. Yeah something like that would be a cool party + mage protagonist. All on the equal ground.

I think 2 black, 2 asians, 2 whites, and 1 hispanic.

Why only 1 hispanic? You don't like hispanics?

Anyway. I would like: 5 humans, 3 dwarfs and 1 elf.

I don't care so much what race they are since I'm not a racist. :P

No, but for real, I care more about how interesting they are rather than what race.

I would like, at the very least, one companion from each 'standing', so we get a fair argument for each point of view in the game. I would also like companions who aren't extremist and understand where the other side of the argument is coming from.

I can't say I enjoyed the bickering and hating in DA2. Proper debate is cool, though!

So...

1. A Templar who isn't extremist and understands that the situation isn't black and white, but can eloquently argue why mages who haven't been through a Harrowing are in danger. S/he disagreed with the abuse within the Circles. S/he also can see that, at least partly, what the Chantry preaches is where some of the abuse stems from, as people are taught to see mages as less than human because of the religious teachings.

2. A Seeker.

3. A Mage who isn't all "DOWN WITH THE CHANTRY," but knows of the abuse that happened within the circle. S/he understands that mages are particularly dangerous without a Harrowing, however. S/he is Atheist because it's difficult to follow a religion that damns mages for just being born, but doesn't attack the morals of those who do believe in the Maker.

4. A Tevinter mage who doesn't agree with the bad that blood magic is used for, BUT sees how it can be used for good if someone is smart, careful and aware of the very real dangers (I don't want another 'innocent' blood mage like Merrill was). S/he has also lived with freedoms, so might be confronted with what the Circles did.

5. A Kossith that may or may not be with the Qunari but understands the religious culture and has individual opinions on it. S/he might not think the Qun is 'wrong,' but doesn't agree with how is it implemented.

There needs to be an elf and dwarf in there too, somewhere...

(Not really race, but companion classes I would like to see.)

I think an interesting challenge for the writers would be a blind, romanceable mage. Maybe an apostate who relies heavily on the help of spirits to travel and fight, and it's up to the player character to help pull them out of their fervent dependance on spirits to guide them in everything they do. An elf or a human would probably be best; I can't really imagine a Kossith playing this type of character.

It would be great to have humans, desire demon and female Qunari plus some kind of slave companion to boss
around :)

No because sten is of the Qun and I want someone with personality. Sten was cool but I don't think he would be a good LI just my opinion. Plus kinda Wang a female kossith

Would be cool to have a slave actually. You could be nice to it and let it wear people clothes, or you could whip it all day and let it sleep in it's own filth, or something in between.

That probably won't be an option until we have a game in antiva or tevinter

I'm hoping for a diverse group of people with interesting personalities and not one-note characters who either talk about one thing no matter how hard I try to stop them(Merril and blood magic), whine and whine about something I'm already trying to help them with(Anders and the circle) or tell me basically one thing about themselves and nothing else, like their hobbies and such(Fenris and being a slave(Although, to be fair, he did have plot amnesia)). I'd like at least one elf, one dwarf and one Kossith(?) in the group.

Personally I would like to see a darkspawn companion(Architect?), a desire demon, a female Qunari, a spirit from the fade(not in some human host) and an ancient dalish elf awakned fron his/hers long slumber(one who can actualy tell us how the elven empire realy was... maybe even help restore the elves to their formar glory).

Please share your preferences:D

So a monster, a demon, a woman who by virtue of being a Qunari, would not have left her homeland, a spirit without a host (not possible), and an Elf.

That's.. yeah.

Female Seeker(Cassandra?)
Male templar(Cullen?)
Tevinter Magister
Ex circle Mage
renegade Qunari/Kossith rogue
Female human Coterie rogue(really liked the cameo character Lily in DA2 who's death always frustrated me)

1) a Qunari
2) a hybrid, either half-elf or half-dwarf
3) a Darkspawn from among the Architect's children, doesn't matter if it's a hurlock, genlock, etc.
4) a member of a completely new humanoid race, few in number and from a far-away land

Not to put too fine a point on it, but most of what you've listed are classES, not RACES.
