Ok, I'm confused. I reported this issue to EA help center: the multiplayer game lost its connection in the 8th wave, and all the consumable items I was using were gone from inventory. If they don't give me the XP and $, they can't keep the consumables. Especially when there is real $ paying for them.
Now, the response I got from EA support was 1) they don't support in game issues, and 2) I need to post in the forums.
If EA help center doesn't support the game, just what the hell do they do?
Why did support tell me to post here?

I just got a similar response from EA about my problem. I'm beginning too suspect that EA just doesn't do anything helpful. It seems they want your money, but not too give you any sort of reasonable customer service.

That's sort of funny, considering Origin's instability is what causes the disconnects in the first place.

Network software issue. I'm sure many on the help desk believe it is just a network problem and not the software...sometimes they'd even be right. Unless BW volunteers to do something about it the forums won't result in any compensation. Oh, it isn't origin's instability that causes the disconnects, it is the UDP reliability layer. Origin itself uses TCP.
