While talking to Wynne she tells me about the kid she mentored in her past and how he ran off to live with the dalish elves. Now I know this is her side mission and all you have to do to start it is visit the elves...but I killed the elves in favor of the warewolves. I am guessing that I can't do her mission now.
Is that right, or is it still possiable to do her side quest?

OK, to answer my own question (and for anyone else who finds themselves asking this) it is possiable to do Wynnes quest even though you kill the dalish. When she gives you the quest just go into the Bercialian forest to where the old hermit lives, and the elf that Wynne told you about will be there.
