Simple question:

The email normally sent by Chorban about the keepers if the Scan the Keepers assignment was completed in ME1, is it sent by Jahleed instead if you choose to scan for him (after running Chorban off in the Jahleed's Fears assignment) rather than for Chorban?  I know that there is a flag specifically for scaring off Chorban rather than killing him, so I wonder if this allows for the email to still be sent in ME2.  Can anyone confirm this for me?  I cannot find anything online.
