You're free to feel that way. I was just stating that there is a way to do it for those who want one. Even if Bioware makes a kossith a LI, as long as you don't pursue it then in your DA world they aren't. Everybody's happyVilliamus wrote...

can anyone really conceive of a scenario where you ask out a Kossith and she says something other than "no." at this point it's almost their catchphrase

There's a Krogan in ME2 who recites poetry, I don't see why there can't be a Kossith interested in romance.

here's how I see this conversation going based on everything I know about the Kossith, the Qunari and the Tal-Vashoth
PC "do you want to be my girlfriend?"
Kossith "no"
PC "the horns work for you"
Kossith "thank you"
PC "I like Horny Women"
Kossith "Apparently so"
PC "I've got you flowers"
Kossith "are they medicinal?"
PC "no they're just pretty"
Kossith "then why?"
PC "I'm trying to romance you"
Kossith "why? I have no interest in tiny men" (or women)

I have a magic satchel. It's a staple accessory in this day-and-age.

Vit246, they are Kossith who are born into the Qun and leave; Kossith are the race, not all would be born under the Qun mentality, thus they wouldn't leave something they never joined.

We haven't met a kossith who hasn't been exposed to the Qun, though. So suggesting that romantic and sexual attraction is not programmed into their genetic code is like aliens thinking eating meat is not programmed into the human gentic code because they've only made first contact with vegetarians lol

There are always exceptions to everything, everyone is different. People are just asking for a very rare person, and frankly we have a whole bunch of rare people in our party usually.

Only that would be true if you wrote the word "Qunari" instead of "Kossith" everywhere.

Not really, there are people like that. No matter what you do, you'll never impress them (religion or otherwise), nor would they get the hint if you try.
Besides,

I think if we ever put a female Qunari into the game, I'd have to make her non-romanceable almost on principle. Just because it would be funnier that way.

femQunari: *blank stare*
PC: What's wrong?
femQunari: I mean no offense. You are simply very... small.

But when you talk to Sten about the incident he shows almost no emotion about it, not because he doesn't care but because he's all ready reflected on it and sees no logical point in crying about it.Eveangaline wrote...

Arishok - "I understand"

Sten was a Kossith and he killed a whole farming family in a fit of rage. Also when you see his image of his kossith companions in the fade, they were much less stoic and serious than he was.
I think using the Arishok (the leader of the entire military wing of their people) may not be the best example of how an average kossith acts
