 Hello comrades,
On the count that we do get races how would you feel about race specific specifications? Dragon age holds different cultures and within these different cultures they are teachings that are more likely to be known by a specific race. If at this point you are wondering what i am going on about i give you an example. Dalish Elf origin and your class is a mage and you get an extra skill tree not opened to others called "keeper." This is just a suggestion so i would love to hear your response. I just feel like this way we can be able to feel the difference between races. Wait a second, this new dragon age installment is planning to incorperate specializations into the story and adding this feature might be a lot of resource grinding. If that is the case then i will not be mad as i thought this would just be kinda cool.<3

I actually like this idea. It could be handled so awesomely, given that we actually get to choose our race this time around.

Well the only ones I can think of are Berserker*dwarves* and Keeper*elves* and making Berserker Dwarf only would probably ****** people off considering it was available for other races in the first two games

Elves should get a racial bonus called "lithe and excel at poverty"

I would like this. It would give me more reason to play all the other races and try them out.

The idea is good, if not great. A dolish rogue/warrior could have a specialization as "hunter".

Similar, a City Elf could have some kind of specialization as a rogue. being a shadow of the society they could make great at stealth or pickpoket.

Human can have a paticular training, maybe as templar or noble.

I'd like to have some malus too.
Example: if we have a Dalish Elf, it would be mor difficalt for him to interact with Humans, just as for a City Elf would be hard to win the simphaty of Humans.

I like malus as much as I like bonus. Made the choise more interesting.

well instead of specific skill tress how about just bouns moves for each race like in skyrim where impirials get voice of the Emperor, Argonians get shed skin or somthing.

those power buffs could alter the skill tree someway like for example a Dalish mage could ward away animals for 20 seconds, giving him/her enough time to cast a spell.

That's a good idea.  But hopefully more balanced than Skyrim.  Imperial bonuses were weaksauce compared to some of the others.

maybe the hero could have Fereldens protector buff which gives thm a 30seconds strength buff?
or if Orlisan, Pure blood, which helps them negotiate

Maybe not strength, you'd want the buffs to be something useful across classes.  Like an attack speed buff for elves, or a damage or knockback mitigation for dwarves.  For humans maybe an aura that buffs party damage.
