...is that the Collectors only have 5 units: Trooper, Captain, Abomination, Scion, Praetorian

We already know how monotonous it can be when an enemy has only 5 units like the current Geth (though that will change with the DLC).

Does anyone else think this could be a potential issue?

Once you fight the Praetorian, you're gonna wish it was their only unit.

They will probably just swarm captains, troopers and abominations

Well, I don't think they'll have the cheap stagger tactics the geth do, so I don't think it will be like that. Though the Scions will likely have shockwave and the Praetorians are the hardest enemy unit in the trilogy.

I think they'll be a fun faction to play against.

Also, Harbinger can assume control of units, technically making more unique enemies.

if scions are like in ME2, they can shockwave. So I think 5 is enough

This is what I was hoping for. Each unit is unique, but Harbinger is given the ability to augment each individual unit (one at a time of course) and augment their AI, durability, and powers, such that every unit has the potential to become a Boss Unit. It would obviously be stronger if it were a Praetorian instead of a Scion, and Harby-controlled Captain would be stronger than a Drone, and so on. That's what I'm expecting anyway, with an emphasis on augmented AI. Would love to see them become noticeably smarter/tactful.

I don't think there will be any issues with their only being 5 units, I'm really more curious into how the AI will behave when compared with the other enemy classes.

I've actually heard Harbinger possession won't be used at all, according to one of the guys that did the "Game with the Devs"

Well it looked like they also are throwing husks in that mix to give 6 units. Just 5 of them are new. Otherwise my eyes were playing tricks on me for seeing yellow glowing husks.

I didn't think they would work this into MP, but if they do that would certainly make for a good enough variety. I hope you're right.

The Devs have arleady said that they didn't include Harbinger assuming direct control? I hope its just a lie so we will all be surprised when its possibly in the game?

Scions have shockwave which might stunlock you. Praetorians... are difficult overall. I hope Bioware won't do what they did to the Geth to the Collectors.

I'm pretty sure Bioware said Harbinger can't assume control.

You can see enemies with the "Harbinger Effect" in the trailer, and it's been heavily implied by devs on the forum. It's most likely going to be in there.

The devs only said he wouldn't be attacking players in his Reaper form.

Has the whole "Harby assumes direct control" thing actually been confirmed at all? Because it seems to me like a rumor.

Harby was interested in Shepard personally, thats why he stalked him. We're just a bunch of no name soldiers, harby doesn't care about us.

At first glance they don't look that difficult but who knows they might end up beating the Geth, It all depend on the Praetorian effectiveness as a boss

They were REALLY nasty in ME2 if I'm remembering correctly.

Collectors will effectively be the Reaper faction, but instead of ravangers you have scions, and instead of brutes and banshees you have Praetorians and ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

I'm interested to see how they effect platinum.

I think the dev posted about possession mechanic isn't in the new DLC. I'm looking forward to the swarm captain and scion. I don't like the new scion design.... Too muscular, not creepy.

It's not really that different from what they were in ME2 and those guys were still a good fight. Still, at least it's 5 off the bat opposed to Geth's 4. Also, this is the first DLC that brings in new enemies.. opening the door for.. more enemies.

Edit: Forgot there's 5.. but the Geth all look the same so.. meh :P
