Yes! A well written single player DLC as an expansion to Javik's story making the addition of Protheans a very personal matter and lends character growth to Javik himself would be the only way it wouldn't feel like we were spitting on Javik.
If they made it in somehow without the inclusion of some single-player element, or a badly written one, I'd feel dirty playing one.
If Volus works out and people actually end up liking them, what next?

The arguments against all of these classes have been that they're not the same size/shape as other characters already in the game. With the Volus inclusion, it really depends on how it's done. If they use a combat exoskeleton so that their size is comparable and their battle ability seems more believable, then I doubt we'll be seeing those characters, because the basic physical archetype for all characters will still be the same. If they use the same sort of body type/shape that we see in the game, then they might consider different body shapes, but given the size of the maps, I still doubt elcor and yahg would actually fit in some maps. Seriously, they'd get stuck in the LZ room on Glacier.

Especially if volus have no exoskeletons. Guns will clip to all sh**, melee should not be possible for them at that height (literally punching knees) and dodging will look awkward, so f it if volus can join the fight why not rancors or jawas.
