I also noticed that the OHK animations are much longer now. the banshee will hold you and stab you for a few seconds. Also if you die while getting OHK the timer starts even though you can't be revived becuase she is still holding you.

There is another issue where you "can't charge" an enemy in general, but that's a general lag/pathfinding issue that's been since release and not related to anything in the patch.
That being said, I have definitely noticed strange things with healthgate since the patch. I've played gold and offhost exclusively, and (in non-laggy) games I've sometimes just dropped dead from full health when shields are down. Sometimes I'll also instantly resurrect after such a death. Very strange.

Yup you have to be really lucky and live long enough for your death to cancel the "pulls out rocket launcher" animation. Then you have to be lucky to not be stunned to death before you can actually fire that thing.
But I had the same issues with the healthgate as well, shortly after the patch came out. It got better though, maybe I got a little used to it.
Some friends of mine actually reported dying before even hitting healthgate and stuff, so I really do believe that something was changed with the health gate.

IDK for sure. I think before you had a very, very short period of invincibility once you hit health gate before you could die. Now it is instantaneous. You could probably save a couple of nemesis to test it though.heybigmoney wrote...
Is this for real? So a nemesis can one shot me from full health if I had no shields?

A previous poster aired this theory, and this is what I also think has happened.
Health gate still exists. I.E. If you have 500 health and eat a rocket for 2000 you wont go down.
However, it appears that you no longer have a window of being invulnerable when you hit health gate. So if you have 500 health, eat a rocket for 2000 AND a stray bullet for 10, you go down immediately. It was rough at first but Im starting to get used to it.
Nothing I said is tested, but from the 30 or 40 games I played this weekend, this is what seemed to be happening.

Also, did the extended deathcam make it easier to save someone from banshee grabs? I swear that twice in one game someone rocketed a banshee after I would normally be dead, and saved me.

Yeah, it's most likely isolated to platinum because I was playing gold relentlessly this weekend and healthgate and shield gate were working fine.

...My team started camping my body for revive medals after the third time. I. LITERALLY. Could. Not. Control. Anything. Downed revived downed revived downed revived. From the first time I went down I lost all character control until the damn wave was over.
That happened on patch day.
As for healthgate on gold, a lot of my deaths have been totally inexplicable. Pretty sure it's gone, since I've been OSKO's by a Nemesis after my shields were downed.

For example, PD on a bad connection is the most annoying thing to use. However, if i host, it's like in teh old days.
