invalid. no  more  ridiculous than vorcha.

Right, we've never seen vorcha fight either.  Oh no wait, a quarter of the crap we killed in ME2 was vorcha.

Exactly - crap. Throw away soldiers for krogan.
And we expect the volus with their financial empire not to have some sort of defence? LOL

Correct me if Im wrong but your the idiot who is saying they shouldnt have added collectors

I shan't correct you for that is true - I'm against the Collectors thematically, for it kind of nullifies the point of ME2. I'm sure they'll have a good reason, explanation and purpose for the Collectors in the Omega DLC... or at least, I should hope so.

I always find it amusing when people complain about complaining. People that do it never, NEVER realize what hypocrites they are.

1. And the krogan were throwaway soldiers themselves. What's your point? That you don't think a race with violent tendencies and incredibly cellular regeneration/adaptive properties can't be great soldiers? Seems kind of insane to me.
2. Yes. It's called "hiring the turians." You can read about it in the lore. Which I highly recommend before whatever ridiculous thing you're going to say next.

Adding ''Volus'' to the list of words that make BSN go aping mad.

Currently we got: Nerf, Piranha, BL2, Farm... Did I miss something?

Ah shoot. I never venture into the story forums and have pretty much gotten over both of those.
Forgot there's a whole board full of people still going on about those! Sorry!

The rage never ceases.  If they were krogan, I'd take them to get The Rite.

Not that I can blame them exactly.  The only reason I can stomach it is that I'm still an IT'er.  But even we're getting pissy about the ambiguity from BW.

I'm hopeful for this being true, but I won't jump the gun and assume legitimacy until it's actually confirmed in the game through a BW team member or actually shows up in the game properly.

I always find this amusing. You know it wouldn't be free if they weren't making a larger profit of stupid mofo's that spend upwards of $100 each on microtransactions because they are too lazy to unlock the stuff legitimately?

Profiting of impatience and greed.. And people say EA aren't evil. HA!

I got no opinion on the matter!
I just play and judge on what I see and what I like and ignore other peoples views on it.
Keeps my opinions strictly personal, drama free and about 90% humorous.
For example picked Synthesis because of SCIENCE! How? why? WHO CARES! SCIENCE!

I reject everyones reality and substitute my own!

People quoting "the lore" always remind me of this. Maybe, just maaaybe in the face of total annihilation even a peaceful trader race can change its ways. They have suits that can be customized in whichever way (remember the Volus on Illium) like the Quarians, who can fight even though they are "fragile", too.

But nooo, it's not "in the lore!".

Sure, they can just decide to not be slower than a gimp tortoise.  Makes sense.  So what grade did you stop going to science class?  2nd?

The whole Volus thing has helped me a bit, I was becomming too hooked on BSN & ME3 mp, the new dlc got me quite feverish with excitment. Then the Volus thing appeared, which I find laughably ridiculous, but I do understand the points many people have about just wanting them because it's fun, a bit of a laugh and will add more variety. The two sides as always got quite heated, but then these forums kind of became a weird place and a lot of people have spent the best part of the weekend trolling persistantly, creating multiple Volus threads, making Volus comments in every unrelated thread and gleefully taunting the people who really don't want Volus in at almost every oportunity, almost as if the main joy they're getting from their possible implementation is that it's going to annoy many other people. It's all got quite sadly unpleasant.

I will be disappointed if they are put in, for me it's a lore-stretch too far, they just don't make sense as battlefield soldiers to me, it'll be great for those that want them, but if they don't I won't feel the need to rub the pro-Volus crowds nose in it, as they seem to be intent on doing.

Yeah, support your arguments with insults. Always a good way to prove you're right.

Maybe they got mechanical enhancements? You know, given they wear suits anyway, it should be no problem at all, to give them greater strength. Plus, given that they are accustomed to bigger gravity than humans, they should do fine on standard gravity anyhow, so for all we know their suits limit them. We don't see that many Volus in ME, who knows if there isn't some elite force there. They've been know to lend support troops to Turians as well. Couldn't do that if they were crawling like a turtle...

Just pointing out - established lore is that far from limiting them, the suits are the only thing keeping them alive in standard gravity. Their bodies are built to withstand high pressure, and in low pressure they'll actually rupture and pop. From the Wiki:

...in the low pressure atmospheres tolerable to most species, their flesh will actually split open.

That's why they use suits, yes. But who says these suits have to be limiting? Quarians have those, too, and they can fight just fine. We never know how the "normal" Quarian's suit would be like as usually every one has to be fit for defending one's own on the Pilgrimage.
