Huntrers are by far the worst of the bunch. If you're in the open with no useful cover around, you're basically screwed. I play as a Paladin and it usually goes like this: hunter shot hits from nowhere -> I see it and use energy drain -> stunned, shields drop -> try ED again -> stunned, dropped to low health -> try ED AGAIN -> stunned, downed, every frickin' time! They either need a damage nerf or a decreased clip-size to compensate for their 100% stun probability on most classes, and what's more is most of the time they can shoot straight through my omnishield. And while this is happening, pyros and troopers have closed in and there is no escape.

This is not "challenging" as some people like to argue, this is cheap. I feel cheated. Sure, it makes up for their lack of insta-kill, but enemies with insta-kills have to be in close proximity (ignoring magnet hands) and don't do it all the time. I'm on an analogue TV, I can't see hunters very well, not like it matters if I could, because they'll just stunlock me from range and kill me all the time and every time, making it an imbalanced sync-kill replacement.

Next on the list are the rocket drones who can be worse than the hunters. I wish I had these guys' dexterity. I've seen them firing missiles while facing the opposite direction, while rolling, through  cover, and before they even spawn. I could ignore all of that if they didn't do it constantly, and guess what? The missiles stun you as well until a hunter comes near and you know the rest. I find it silly how they've been missile glitching since day one and still haven't been fixed. More cheap difficulty, and no "challenge" whatsoever.

And then there are the primes. They aren't as overpowered as the rocket trooper and hunter, but despite being bosses, they seem over-the-top. They have pulse cannons that will fire in three-round stunlocking bursts that will curve around and through some walls and can be fired cross-map. They can also infinetly spawn turrets, sometimes through walls that seem to down me more than the cerberus ones, and cerby engineers can only lay one of those a piece. And if this isn't enough, theirl little drone is fixed that telepathically announces your cloaked location and also stuns you. They aren't as bad as the hunters because they are easily visible, move slower, and less of them spawn at once, but they still ruin your games by using their infini-turrets. The argument for their turrets is that they are used to flush us from cover because the geth lack grenades. well, this arguement would actually work if the geth weren't getting the Geth Bomber, and if like grenades the turrets presence was broadcasted to everyone, which it is not and you won't know it is there until you and half of your squad is downed.

Some of you will probably read this and completely disregard all of it thinking "Oh, he's just a butthurt FBW/G/G farmer who wants the challenge to be gone so he can play easy-mode." This is not the case. I never stay in geth lobbies if I can help it, and if I get dropped into a game-in-progress I refuse to stay behind the counters or in the corner outside the room. I actually tactically move around the map thinning their number little by little and know when to take cover or retreat and still get downed every single time to stunlock.

The final argument I will cover is the one where people say to just be well-equipped. What if I don't want to be a Krogan or Batarian? You don't have to be a special race to take down the other two factions, why should the geth be so special? Sure, they are the only synthetic faction and are expected to be different from the other two, but not as radically so as they are. If I'm in a good lobby against the reapers or cerberus, I'll only go down two or three times per game in gold. against the geth? about twenty. What's worse is that I'm paying a class with Energy Drain and every enemy should be a walking battery, right? Not at all. As I've already said, stunlock prevents you from using powers period, and when I can ED an enemy, my shieldgate isn't restored with my shields as immediately and I get stunned and downed anyway, which is even  more cheap because when the best plan works, it still fails. Geth silver should not feel like gold and geth gold should not feel like putting your tongue on an electric fence.

TL;DR The geth are bad and will make you feel bad if you play them. They need nerfed soon to make them playable again.

Edit: typos

We're listening. We've made a few comments lately that we are aware that Geth are not the most fun right now, and that we're planning adjustments but haven't decided what those will be yet.

We've responded to several in the last few weeks, and we've read almost all of them. We rarely speak up on issues when we're not prepared to comment exactly what we are doing though.
