If you'd like a super detailed explanation on how to use Texmod, watch this video.

Download Link: Texmod

Place "Texmod.exe" in  "Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\Binaries\\Win32", alongside the game's original executable.

You'll need to rename your stock .exe to something else and Texmod to "MassEffect3.exe". Then you go to Origin, start up ME3, and a Texmod window should pop up. Then rename the .exes to their original names, reverting the original .exe to "MassEffect3.exe" after you've gotten Origin to launch Texmod as ME3.

Using this batch file method will save you annoying effort in renaming everytime. If your folder organization is different than what listed though, you will need to update the directory to match how your computer has it arranged.

Anyway, now that the Texmod window is there, go to tab Package Mode. Select the large square in the upper right and select "MassEffect3.exe" as your executable. After that, click the little yellow folder and select the .tpf files you want to run in your game.

Hit "run." It will take awhile for the game to load, as this process slows down the booting time. The more textures you load, the longer it can take. (Anything beyond 1.00 GB or 50 files can cause crashes.)

I recommend you have the game set to windowed borderless mode, so you can alt+tab out of the loading and do something else while you wait for it to load.

If you find any of this confusing or have an issue, ask in thread or watched the above linked video.

Also: modding without any kind of competetive advantage is considered acceptable, but any kind of mods is obviously at your own risk. I and others have been using Texmod without getting into any kind of trouble for a long time, but there is never any guarantee Bioware won't change its mind.

The class name/description link has texture link. Often races across classes share the same texture.

Minor Multiplayer Add-Ons

If you would like even more add-ons relevant to multiplayer, you can find various guns, environmental textures, and missile launcher reskins here.

I'll add some custom banners and some links to various stuff in this section later, enemy texture improvements, etc.

I always liked the cross-game armors in Mass Effect, the Blood Dragon armor and Reckoner-Knight.

Hopefully you guys continue the trend with a N7 armor or Dead Space or something in DA3. I always found those cool.

I wouldn't mind a new piece of armor for ME3 related to DA, anyway. I'm really on the fence about this game and while not determining my purposes, I just enjoy those little bonuses. (That don't require me to buy the game from 8 different retailers, that is.)

Also: that demo model you did for Kingdoms of Amalur actually got me to purchase that game for my dad. He likes fantasy games more than me and won't play anything not open world.

Aw. I was going to say pantaloons. (Because I thought you meant across series.)

But, sure. Why not? (But they have to make the ME characters wear medieval armour in space, too. Fair's fair.)

Seeing the main char in DA3 run around in N7 plate armour or Spectre light armor... hell yeah.
