I must admit, a few times with the hack objective, I've not realised it's that type and only realised about half way through.

It's not intentional sometimes!

I agree.

I've lost count of how many times you're doing an escort or upload/hack and at least two other players screw off and try to be Rambo (only to, inevitably, die).

yep.  you're on an escort and someone goes down 200 "meters" away.    Then your ****** teammate leaves the escort to revive the other person!  leaving you with 1 rambo, one person in the circle - one guy on bleedout in the middle of a bunch of enemies, and another misguided but team spirrited individual who is ABOUT to be on bleedout trying to save the other guy....
i always want to yell "don't get him - just let him bleedout - the escort will go FASTER if he bleeds out! not likehe's gonna help anyway

Oh god, THIS. It drives me nuts.  I always yell at that point - usually because I've already politely explained that the more people we have on the escort/hack, the faster it gets done and the more money we get, but to no avail. Too selfish to help with the objective, just points-wh*ring and trying to boost your score? Good luck gettting revived.

The other night, me on my own in the hack circle, wave 10, gold.
Me: "We need everyone on the hack, guys"
Them: ...
Me: "Seriously, I'm getting overrun, this timer's taking forever to go down. Need some help here guys."
Them: ...
Me, stepping out of the circle: "Oh well, looks like nobody wants to finish the match then"
One of the Three Rambos: "Hey, is nobody hacking?"
Me: "You're using your mic now? Cool. Well, you lot were just off killing stuff so I figured I would too. Looks like we'll fail the match."

Which we did. None of them came to help, so I got myself shot and bled out, then watched possibly the worst GI in history completely fail to kill a Phantom, who skewered him, an Asari Adept with a Widow getting downed hipfiring (and missing) at a Nemesis, and a Vorcha with a Typhoon firing in short bursts at a Guardian and getting clubbed to death by two Centurions who had sneaked up behind him. Neither of the non-skewered guys gelled until the last second, just as the timer ran out.

I'd had my suspicions in the lobby, looking at their weird loadouts, but their N7s were all over 700 so I figured they must know what they're doing. If it works for them, kind of thing. Apparently not.

Grrrrr.

Honestly, sometimes it's the high levels that are the worst, since they pick awful combos out of shear boredom.

I picked up the pizza as a Destroyer on a gold match because it happend to spawn next to me then dropped it for the Fury who came running. I did good. *pats self on back then wonders who is touching me*

The only time I'm not near an objective is if I'm drawing fire to the other side of the map so the Infiltrator can do the 4 Triggers rather uninterupted.

Its perfectly fine for you to run it

If you have an Adren III mod on, and turn off Destroyer Mode. Image IPB

Some pretty bad team play going on in some of these post, which is a shame. I must be one of the lucky ones. I play silver exclusively, and have no problem with team mates helping get the objective done.

I'm pretty lenient when it comes to tomfoolery in multiplayer matches. As long as people are contributing, I don't mind how they do it or what they do. People who don't help with the objective are the people that annoy me most. You can keep killing... just get in the hacking circle or defend the guy!

Still far slower than a Fury with any adren mod on. Plus I am supposed to be a tank holding everything off which doesnt work so well when I try to keep the pizza warm at the same time. Where is speedy delivery service when you need them....

Only problem in that case was the Fury didnt pick the bloody thing up and I could have delivered it in the time it took them to pick the bloody thing up themselves.

If they aren't doing the objectives and just screwing around somewhere I leave them to their own devices and "forget" to revive them later, or walk right past their bleeding body.

Some characters are not supposed to pick-up pizza in the first place, eg. Turian

.

THIS drives me nuts. When there's a Drell or a Fury as part of the team, let them take it. Just provide distraction away from the drop zone and let them gol.

Drell, Fury, Geth, Shadow and Slayer are all good characters to do delivery.

Second class choice is Salarian, Paladin, Human engineer, QMI, even demolisher those who have good mobility and  can stagger enemy for a short while.

But if you are Turian soldier, just forget about it...Pizza is not your type. Don't try to touch it unless your teamate can't handle this.

Same Theory, never try to get closed any devices if there is an infiltator in the game...You will only make game much difficult...

You forgot Krogans and Vorcha for some reason. The Krogan headbutt is a very fast way to deliver the pizza, AND you don't have to be walking backwards or sideways. Vorcha heavy melee also very good at front-facing abilities.

I think its kinda sad when I'm playing Vanguard and I'm stuck in a Hack Circle while all the other players are ramboing.

Also, when I leave the Hack/Escort circle its usually for a second to get rid of an enemy who is shooting my team down. Otherwise I'm usually the first to the objective.

Yeah, just venting.

Damn people.

some see this as a way to increase kills and Xp as a group whole, I will nuke pairs every time I see them if I can but still defend the object, while yes some ppl dont care and are lost in blood lust

Some people happily kill stuff without even thinking about objective and failing the game. I guess first place is much more important than credits and actually winning the match.

It irritates me when people do not help with the objectives, I have seen people stand right next to a hack object and not even attempt to touch it, I will always go to the hack circle and help out on pizza deliveries, etc (if playing a class that can move quickly).

Best is when you look up the score and see the rambos are normally bottom and the people helping to hack are higher than them.

I can attest to this even though am only N7 1140.
Let's just say that a Black widow 3 on a Batarian Sentinel, with only shockwave at ranged 16, was not my brightest ideas ever.

My Shadow will walk in the Escort area until an enemy is visible.  At that point it's going down and I'll get back to the escort when things are clear.  Same with Hack zones, I'll put enemies down while they are far away and then run back to help if things are clear, otherwise I'll be the distraction.

Or would you rather I just spam Electric Slash. Image IPB

Lol, ... can't be any worse an idea than to use a respec card to change the built, only to end up making the same built again because you thought you ran with another Image IPB
