For about three weeks (pre patch) my game suddenly will not let me enter multiplayer.

Start up suddenly takes about twice as long as it used to, with a much longer "connecting to EA servers" phase than usual. After that (apparently) completes I select Multiplayer from the main menu and then it puts up the loading screen. Forever. I've left it up for >30 minutes on multiple occasions. At the same time, noise from the Xbox system drops off significantly when I select Multiplayer; don't know if that's significant.

I have done the following:

1) Restarted my router (hard plugged into the Xbox).
2) Cleared cache. 
3) Deleted and reinstalled some patches.
4) Transferred all files to a new Xbox. (I was eventually going to do this anyway.)

Nothing has changed. It still just sticks on an infinite loading screen. Any advice?
