I was writing in another topic about combat in DA3, when I thought about some ideas for talents that could feel fund and still be used in tactical gameplay. I'm writing this mostly because I find it to be fun, but hopefully it can serve as some inpiration to Bioware. Please post your own ideas for new combat talents as well if you have any.
Warrior
Charge (requires the character to be wearing a shield):
When activated, a straight arrow can be drawn and placed from the selected player. Once the set path has been placed, the warrior will take a moment to take his stance, and then begin charging, following this straight line. Any enemy that crosses his path will then be knocked down for a time, but he can't stop either, nor change direction, until he has reached his destination.
Rogue
Haste:
Passive ability. Simply makes the rogue move faster than others in combat. My picture of rogues has wlays been that they are the most mobile on the field, being everywhere at once.
smoke bombs:
Active ability. Makes the rogue drop bombs as he runs along, leaving a trail of smoke, blinding the enemy. Combined with "Haste" above it should prove even more effective.
It's admittingly not many, but hopefully you guys have other ideas as well.
