I AM USING WINDOWS XP, SO THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE SAME FOR EVERYBODY

I was looking around...almost everywhere; but I finally found it. The game does not have an option to run the game in a window...without that ugly bar at the top of your screen.

I was messing around with the settings, and this is what I found.

I right clicked on the DAO icon on my desktop > Properties > and where it said "Run:" I put "Maximized".
Then I applied the changes, and opened the launcher. After that I went to configure, and went to the video setting. There I unticked "Run in Full Screen".

I saved those settings, and proceded to run the game. The bar at the top was more than halfway gone. I right clicked on the bar and clicked "Move", went as high as I could....and there it was...no bar.

I a not saying this will work for everybody...but it worked for me

Hurray for multi-tasking....X-specially on the loading screens.:pinched:

Neat, or just change your screen resolution from your Display Properties and then move it all they way up...  Not that I want to steal your thunder :D

In Windows 7 you have to disable window reposition.

Control Panel > Ease of Access Center > Make the mouse easier to use

Check Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen.

There is a much better method of maximizing Dragon Age in a window that makes it look cleaner than manually moving the window:
