DA games do not have an alignment to call some classes evil and some good. And it was better implemented in DAO than in DA2. Then again DA2 did ignore its own lore for the sake of ACTION so all blood mages in Kirkwall were cartoon parodies to begin with.
Please no Fenris like characters

I don't like Fenris, but he's a great character. His lack of armour always annoyed me a bit though. His clothes didn't seem right.

I didn't care much for Fenris. I think the big thing was that he never really grew beyond his hatred for mages. I would've liked it if he realized that not all mages are bad but still pretty much support the templar's view on mages.

not all blood mages are evil to assume so is just silly and irresponsible.

I never said all blood mages are evil. Only that I wouldn't trust them one bit long as I knew they were blood mages.
And if DA2 did one thing well, it was portraying what a great potential for evil deeds all mages have - after all, most mages you ever come across turn to blood magic and I refuse to simply swallow the excuse that it's just all the templars fault and how they oppressed the mages, cornering them until they know no other way. A lot of these mages did choose Blood Magic, and not always simply to gain an edge over Templars.

... but he does. He learns to trust and respect a mage Hawke, or Bethany. And he knows not all mages are bad and that some have good intentions. He just believes that even those can succomb to demons when pressed enough. And it's not that odd to think that everybody has a breaking point.

@renility
if that's the case why doesn't he treat the templars the same way because if i remeber correctly they were being possessed by demons as well in DA2.

your just mincing words now you should never judge a book by it's cover.

I'm not judging a book by it's cover, I'm just stating one of the very few things DA2 did really well IMO, while not saying that all Blood Mages turn to Blood Magic out of malice just as not all Blood Mages turn to it because they're being cornered by the Templars.
Lust for power on one hand and simply giving in to the immense pressure out of natural weakness (which I am not blaming the mages for) are two different things and both can be reasons for a mage to turn to Blood Magic. If stating that is mincing words to you, then we might as well stop this discussion.

when I say don't judge a book by it's cover i'm refering to the statement you made about not trusting a known blood mage. And truthfully i'm just stating my own opinion on Fenneris i'm not trying to change anybody's mind about him. i'm just saying his downright hatred towards mages is wrong just like anders hatred towards the templars is wrong hate makes more hate.

I don't hate him but I don't particularly like him either,and yes he is just as whiny and annoying as Anders.Would have been nice if at some point in the story he grew beyond his hate of mages but alas no.
