Hey, so i am doing Broken Circle and i cant get out of the apprentace area. Ive talked to Gregor so many times and i cant get the door open. any ideas? the auto save is after i talk to him which doesnt help me at all. and the other save i have is liek 4 hours into the game. im at 20 hours now

I have the same problem. I finished almost everything in the tower, but after I defeated Uldred and brought back to the apprentice quarters I am stuck and the door is closed. I recall defeating the quest earlier and that time the First stood there and finished the quest, now he is not there.
P.S : I'm on PC though.

Have you tried exiting the tower and going back in? I mean completely leaving to another area on the main map and going back.

You shouldn't of been brought back to the apprentice quarters, you should of been brought back to the foyer where you first met Gregoir.
