My opinion is that she has found a way to finally kill Flemmeth for good by having this ancient god baby.
I think she feels that her male lover might be in grave danger from Flemmeth so she tells him to stay away.
But, hopefully, we will find out what's up in a sequel.

Yes, I see that she feels bad and really does not want to go, but she still does.

She told my character that having the god baby was why Flemmeth sent her with us.
My husband thinks she is going to use the child like Flemmeth was going to use her, to replace her body when she grows old.
He dosen't like her and I do so I don't believe this. I'm sure Flemmeth did have some plan for rthe child, but I'm sure my frendship (as a woman) and my love (as a man) has changed Morrigan's outlook enough so she will raise the child with more kindness and yes love. And my male told her he would find her.

I believe your husband...Maybe it's just our male imperative to distrust women...
Could be.
Though it could just be he dosen't have the patience to work through her "issues" and she definately has some.

After about 7 or so playthroughs and every possibility I can see.....I can not get Morrigan to stay.
Tis sad.

It's the plot. Morrigan leaves whatever way you end the game. But if you have her ring in your inventory you may be able to find her (or she will find you) i am assuming in the expansion called The Awakening which is due in March 2010. I only pray that Leliana will be there too as she was my best friend (lover) in Origins.
Yes, this is what I figure as well. I always have the ring on when game ends..just in case.
Personally, I think she leaves you as she loves you and is afraid for your safety from Flemmeth.

At any rate, Morrigan can locate the ring. As far as I know, the reverse cannot be said.

Uh, I believe the functionality of the ring was a plot device for the first visit to Fort Drakon.
Not just for that; there is an epilogue slide which makes mention of the ring, depending on the status of your relationship with Morrigan at the end of the game.

I'm guessing that in your story, your Hero helped her make a baby. In mine, I got the same usual, "Morrigan disappeared" spiel, even though I still had the ring.Avaraen wrote...
