I don't think anyone else can threaten to cut off Hawke's "Champions" if he hurts Merrill in quite the same way as Isabela. I'm sure she's having fun on the ship she got in Act III.

I hated Isabella with a passion but I know that many people really liked her - since BW is going to make up to 10 party members I say if there is an Isabella-like character just make her optional.
Don't force her into my party - everyone is happy.

Isabela has become one of my favorite characters, so I give a tremendous tip of my hat to Sheryl Chee and Victoria Kruger for their work.

On topic, I don't think any character could ever replace Isabela, but I am looking forward to seeing how the new companions are written.
