They have never played a combat role against the reapers during all of mass effect 3 let alone the previous games before them so why in the universe are they being added?
The quest with Zaeed, when you go renegade or paragon on the volus dude's ass he grants you the volus bombing fleet. Why would a race (of supposedly unarmed) volus have a bombing fleet? Sure they'd have soldiers and guards, or perhaps the volus have just decided to pull their weight. There are multiple reasons why volus are a cool option.
But, until bioware actually confirm the kits as legit, all bets are still on as to whether or not they are legit. Though once again, it strikes me as a little bit too much effort for just trolling.
Volus Haven't played a combat role in mass effect so why are they being added?

The volus are weak they probably don't have that much health and wouldn't be the worth of probably getting in the first place but you think all of bsn should suffer a rare card that they don't want just so they can have a harder or longer time to get the stuff that they do want?

However it is talking about the military and does state they favour air supperiority. It is a fairly safe assumption to work out it is more likely they serve on their ships. Besides, I wasn't the one making the point. The onus falls on whoever claims a fact to back it up with evidence or logic.GaryMaple wrote...

Who cares. Get a life stop whinging about volus
Won't do when they're a non combative race
Do us a favor and go corner an animal that isn't a predator. See how non-combatitive a cornered squirrel is when cornered by the dominant species of this planet.
That doesn't change the fact that the volus have always had others fight for them lol
What do you do when your forces are already busy and stretched thin? The Turians are a part of their own war, the same war, and they don't have enough forces. Hell, Collectors are showing back up, stretching those thin numbers til there IS no more to send out, no more to have fight for you. So, what do you do? You do it yourself.
Not if your the volus you die because you don't do combat things yourself you allow others to and your body is no where near capable of fighting enemies so you'd most likely flee then fight and would die in the process
Hand to hand fight between a Volus and a Krogan? Perhaps. But, they aren't fighting with their body, they would be fighting with tech and biotics which take NO physical strength. Whoever has the better gun, shields, and other tech/biotics is going to win that fight.
A geth trooper with no shields and nothing but a GPR is going to get their butt kicked by a Volus with some shields and a decent gun any day of the week.
Yet the volus have no stamina probably no shields or health in the first place probably the very same reason why they have others fight for them in the first place so a volus might not be beating anything
Where did you get the idea that shields had to do with stamina..? Shields are form of tech and Volus definately have plenty of that. Health? That's up for debate.. They are either quite squishy [100 hp? xD] or their suit holds and or physics don't apply to them and they are denser than most metals. Lets not get into that though.
They would be slow, small, and have weak melee, but everything else will have to make up for that.
The volus are weak they probably don't have that much health and wouldn't be the worth of probably getting in the first place but you think all of bsn should suffer a rare card that they don't want just so they can have a harder or longer time to get the stuff that they do want?
You think everyone else should have to suffer with not getting it just because some don't want it? It seems as if people are split about 50/50 on this subject, so yes, I think it should be released and half of them will get something they don't want and half will get something they do want. Better to get 16 free characters when some don't like them 4 of them than only 12.
Personally, I don't want the collectors rifle, or the diciple, or several other rare guns, characters, and gear.. Others might like them but even if they don't, no reason to call for them to be removed just so you can't get one.

And what automaticlly makes you think things have changed otherwise the volus would've joined in with the war otherwise we probably would've went out of our way to save them with shepard if they were going to be a valuable asset to the war

That's like saying the US has a terrible army and navy because they have a great Airforce. Sure, US doesn't have the best navy in the world, but it doesn't mean Americans are going to all serve in the Airforce.
Same concept for Volus. Yup, they have great bombers and ships. That means nothing for their ground troops.

I think me using the mass effect wiki and explaining how they've never played a huge amount during the battle with soverign or the collectors from mass effect 2 or any battles for that matter is more then just my way but take it or leave it

Same concept for Volus. Yup, they have great bombers and ships. That means nothing for their ground troops.
Because they are not physically adept compared to most species, volus mostly make their influence felt through trade and commerce, and they have a long history on the Citadel.
The volus are unable to survive unprotected in an atmosphere more suitable to humans and other carbon-based lifeforms, and as such require protective suits capable of providing the proper atmosphere, as well as being pressurized to support the volus. Traditional nitrogen/oxygen air mixtures are poisonous to them, and in the low pressure atmospheres tolerable to most species, their flesh will actually split open.
The volus are not physically cut out for combat, be it a full-scale war or even a bar room scuffle. As such, they are highly dependent on the turians for defense, although the volus themselves do provide some auxiliary troops to the Hierarchy. The volus will support the turians in any war they might pursue, and the turians will do the same for the volus. Possibly for this reason, volus weaponry tends to be utilitarian rather than high-grade. Some volus manufacturers specialise in cheaper, lower-grade copies of expensive turian equipment.
Volus prefer airpower in conflicts, counting on turians for ground support. They maintain several flotillas of heavy-bomber frigates capable of warfare in any atmosphere.

Ok, we just had a quote pyramid about this.. I was starting to think that people's opinions of you were wrong, that perhaps you can and do see reason, but apparently, I was wrong.
If you don't agree with the Volus, that's fine, but find a good reason for it instead of restating stuff that makes absolutely no sence.

I've already stated more then enough reasons that do make sense you just can't see the sense in it because you're so dead hard on wanting them added that it doesn't matter to you lol
