I was scrolling through the achievement list after completing the Stone Prisoner quest, and I noticed there was a question mark one, though it was marked as being for Stone Prisoner. When I checked my game guide, it said that to get the achievement you had to "take advantage of what's-his-name's research." Does that have something to do with the demon possession thing at the end of the cellar annoyance, for lack of a better word (that damn slider thing is such a pain that I'm almost tempted to let the demon possess the kid)? Although, the achievement is called "Diabolist," so I can't imagine it as being anything good...

It has nothing to do with that desire demon. Diabolist is an achievement you might pick up in Warden's Keep. There is another achievement tied to the Stone Prisoner -- Stone's Lament. You will stumble across this one easily if you pay enough attention to Shale as the game progresses.
