The replayability of DA games...?

DA2 I've finished twice. I found that I enjoyed it more the second time, as there was less of a shock factor.
I got bored of ME halfway through the first game, haven't touched the series since.

Anyone else find the replay value lacking?
I've played through ME1 four times, ME2 five times and ME3 three times (and counting).
I've played DA:O once and DA2 once. I did start a second playthrough of DA:O, but only got a couple hours in.
OP I think you're confusing your desire to replay a game with actual replay value.
You played DAO once, but it's no secret the game has tons of actual replay value with the different origins and different endings. However, ME3 is actually a very linear game with no where near as many different alternatives.

Hmmm. I don't think you can separate "desire to replay" and "replay value" as two separate concepts. A game might have ten different endings and enough content that you can play through five times without ever seeing the same line of dialogue, but if there are elements of the game (eg. the Fade sequences, let's say) which stop you from ever starting that second playthrough, then the "replay value" of the game is diminished...deatharmonic wrote...

....Awkward moment when I've beaten DA:O fifteen times, DAII ten times, Mass Effect eight time, Mass Effect 2 ten times, and Mass Effect 3 three times.
I'm a rper, though, so it's not difficult for me to approach games with different characters in mind each time. And that, in my games, has effected specs, romance choices, general choices, how the character interacts with others, and what larger choices he/she makes.
I'm at DA:O 20+ and DAII 15+ and will probably play many more itmes before the next one comes out.

I think it's because of achievements ...
I mean, for me, if I replay ME1 more than once, I can get things for doing both Paragon and Renegade. Then I could unlock awards for using companions ... or so many kills with a weapon or ability which I can put through on my next playthrough ... or get added stats from it ...
Don't think they have it in Dragon Age.

I have difficulty playing through DA:O again. I think about it, get excited to play...then remember the Fade. Sucks any enthusiasm to replay right out of me. Orzimar as well, to a lesser extent.
I definately understand about losing the enthusiasm to replay the game, I believe most of my Dragon Age: Origins saves are stuck at The Deep Roads, its a lot like Mass Effect 3 where I seem to be stopping at Priority: Earth.

for DA3 would like to see character's story quests in line with main quest.. and give us the toolset.
