No required stripperific female armor. (If armor covers x amount of skin for male wearers, then have it cover the same amount for females. Don't suddenly turn it into a tank top or bikini for a female wearer, a la Dalish armor or several types of mage robes.)
No auto-dialogue.
No human-only protagonist.
No human-only perspective of the mage/templar conflict. (Elves are mages too, with a greater affinity for magic.)
No extreme bipartisan conflict. (There's other stuff going on in Thedas besides mages and templars.)

No more death. It's overrated. I mean, your PC dies and you have to reload? What good game was ever made using that mechanic? Oh, and every enemy you fight, whether they're shades or genlocks or whatever, dies? Boring and predictable. Eliminating death as an option will force game makers to think outside the box!
Also, no more sexes. Without a sexed protagonist, you don't have to worry about the implications of making the protagonist male or female for marketing. A world of monosex and monogender for Thedosians, I say! Asexual androgyny for all!
