I once dismissed the Mage origin as being the weakest of them all (although overall, I think they're all very good). However, even if the origin itself may seem relatively weak on it's own, I had no idea how emotionally impacting things would be later on. The reunion with Jowan was rather heartfelt, if a bit awkward. The guy at the docks near the Circle brought a smile to my face, even though I'd never seen him before... still gave a welcome feeling. Even seeing Greagor again felt nice. And then there's the tower itself... I totally didn't expect the quest to be as heartwrenching as it turned out. I took it all for granted during the origin, and then to see it ruined like that...

Yeah Jowan's voice acting in the jail was quite good. He really sounded sorry and bad for what has happened, and sounded very genuine in wanting to make things right. He also sounded sorry for lying to you about being a blood mage.

I say the voice acting made it good for you.
