I'm not one of those fangirls who think that Alistair's expressions are real or whatever, but for what the game is, they're pretty damn close. We get the facial cues about his state of mind, the audio cues from the voice actor, and our imagination fills in the rest. Isn't that what a game is supposed to do? He's not real, after all, but if our imagination can make him so, I think the game has fulfilled its purpose.



Yes, probably being in the animation biz it's harder to set aside your professional take on the animation and see it with a layman's eyes. The price you pay, eh?

OMG.  I just choked on my orange juice for the second time today.  First time was on the Mister Fereldon thread with Duncan.

I can probably find a car, a quiet place and enough duct tape to tie him down long enough. All I need is a surgeon of questionable origin who takes payment in chocolate puffs.

Alistair finally gave me a rose at the camp then decided to kiss my PC. I was shocked that he did that since he happens to be my favorite character.

Too bad I can't meet a decent chick in my neck of the woods, that likes video games AND RPG's.

EDIT: I'll just throw this in there. Lets not let this become a "Twilight" type fascination, alright? That would just be.... bad. I would never even acknowledge that I had ever played this game before if it were to come to that.

Yeah, I've hardened Alistair and I miss the "desires" instead of the "my dears." It's very sad. But it's very odd since "hardened" Al will fight for the relationship, but "unhardened," he won't.
