Is there a point at which you can return to the wilds region after the joining ceremony?  I rushed through the joining without doing the other quests there and I would like to know if I should load an old save or if I will be able to go back in later to finish these side quests.

No, you can't return to the Wilds later. Must finish it up before the Joining.

Personally Im replaying that part and still not managing to clear the quest that asks you to find a buried casket. I found a chest with a few things between the two statues... I also found a pouch of dirt I could pour near the sunken temple to summon a beastie which dropped some nice loot... but the quest log and a quest item I found suggests there should be something buried still, to the west of the ruins... and I just cant find that.



Has anyone found where is that buried casket for the Will and Testament quest? (Quest name is from memory, something like that anyhow).

It's easy, just collect all the amulet things that are on the ground while exploreing everywhere.

If you need the lock box then it's in the camp fire.

I'm a bit confused, I'm in Ostagar for the joining ritual. If I complete the ritual will I be unable to complete the Kocari Wilds?

I would imagine from this that you would have to complete the wilds before completing the ritual

I can't find anything on the ground.  My map shows a "pin" and the codex talks about the Chandish (?) symbols on the ground, but I don't see anything "pointing" to the next cache.

What am I missing?

you need to click on symbol - next symbols will appear on map. But I can't find last symbol. It's on my map (in old ruins on top of stairs) but I can't find anything to click there.

Is the first symbol on the ground by the leaning tree?  If I mouse over will it highlight? 

Must be braindead this morning...

Yes first symbol is close to that tree. Try using TAB (hold it) maybe it will help I looked for them in "normal" way and was little mad that I have to pinpoint so small things.
Did you have quest related to those symbols? in quest log?

Wow... I totally searched around for something to click but never found it. Ended up following "pointed sticks" for a half hour thinking they were arrows. I will have to use TAB more often.

Yup , TAB highlighting works along with the little x's on your map.

The lock Box under a campfire to the west by the map marker about a trail. You should have fought some darkspawn there. There is a few boxes, etc. and the camp fire is easy to overlook unless you are looking.

Sigh, I guess I'm going to have to go back to that part--I couldn't find the lockbox, missed the beast with the nice loot, haven't seen an amulet yet...



Good thing I kept a save from just before that area.

So how many quests are available in the wilds? I just finished the one where I followed the letter and got the chest with the 2 handed sword.

2. put ashes on stone

3. locked chest for camp - quest is not finished in wilds

4. quest or not a quest (bug) with following symbols - still I can't finish that one

The chest you find in the log by the campfire is for the markers quest. The one I cannot find is the buried box for the Last Will and Testament quest. I don't want to leave till I find it because you can't go back. Any help please?

Found the last will and testament box but I still can't find those documents for Duncan.
