So, I just bought ME3 [for some reason it won't let me post on ME3 forums?] and I just got to the part where I'm back on the Normandy and can freely move around for the first time; and imagine my surprise when I go to check my gear and NONE of it transferred over with my Imported Character! My weapons and armor are all gone! Is this normal or is something wrong? =/

Do I have to go about re-acquiring them all?

You need to register your copy of ME3 before you can post on that board. Best to do that and ask again over there, but I believe that yes, you do have to reacquire everything with the exception of the ship models from Shepard's cabin and, depending on certain options, the fish for the tank up there. Big caveat: I may be mistaken on that as I don't have ME3 myself and what I've played on a mate's system might not have been an imported character, though I thought it was. Again, I'd register your game and check on the right board to be sure.

The fish are looked after by Kelly if she survived. The hamster should be running around...

Note registering ME3 requires playing while connected to the internet. If you don't have a suitable connection then Bioware hates you and you won't be allowed to register.

ship models isnt exactly a spoiler...but the fish are which was why i didnt tell him how to get them as you need to do something else too
