Kind of a small thing but since we all seem to be throwing out stuff we want to/don't want to see in DA:I....

I would like to be able to interact with/select my bed at the home base as the PC and decide to go to sleep. This could maybe trigger a short cutscene in which the character is shown reclining onto the pillow, or something like when Hawke puts on his finery in the Hawke Estate at the start of Act II. Then the manual save dialogue could come up and you could make a save if you wanted, or just ESC or cancel to leave that screen. The next thing you would see is the morning and the character standing, fully dressed next to the bed.

If you're in a romance, the cutscene could instead be of the PC and LI "chatting" under the covers.

I think this option would help to break up what feels like one long, endless day during gameplay, give players a gentle reminder to make named saves to fall back on rather than abusing the quick save button in all situations (I know I'm guilty of this), help with immersion, and--last but certainly not least--see our PC out of full body armor and traveling armory!

Anyway, it's kind of a pittance but it would make me really happy. :D

Oh that's a great idea holden!!

Kind of like in ME2 you could sit on the couch or lay on the bed with your LI, but even better.

Can we please have this BioWare? hehe :D

I want to be able to sit in chairs, particularly at taverns/inns. Little interactions like that with the enviroment can really make a game world feel alive.

I wouldn't mind this at all. I think it'd be great, if we were in a relationship it'd be a good way to make it feel more real. I know that in DA:O and DA2 and ME1 and ME3 it was like once the deed was done there was nothing. But ME2 had it so you could just hangout in the captain's cabin as Mayrabgood pointed out. This would be a nice little feature.

And I'd have no problem with the game just saving instead of asking if we want to, just do it, it'd be like picking the bed was going into the menu to save and have it create a new save.

You know, DA3 needs to imply more sex in between the PC and their love interest. It makes the romance feel more realistic. They don't even have to show it, they can just say, "The Inquisitor totally just scored. Congratulations."

...Do you see what your lack of updates on DA3 is doing to the forums, Bioware? Take pity on us.

LOL.

Little things like being able to sleep in beds, change to normal clothes, sit in chairs, eat food in taverns, etc. add a surprising amount of flavor to the world.  It's a good suggestion.

Thanx the Maker no one asked for an active outhouse or restroom....yet...

As, you know, what can be more immersion-breaking than lack of an ability to flush the toilet?! And - no I have no Idea how do they do it in Thedas either...probably, we should ask Mr Gaider for more details...

You can flush a toilet in mass effect 2 and 3.

Just saying.

Yeah , I think the whole sleep thing would be a nice addition (:.... although nothing more relaxing after a day of killing and adventure than jumping into that lyrium jacuzzi.

yeah, I know, thanx. That's what immersion is about, isn't it? Who ever needs DAO dialogues and DA2 writing, if you can't even sleep on beds and use toilets?! I'm surprised DA even sells...

I wouldn't mind a little environmental interaction, but I don't think I want the save option to work that way. I've been playing Fable III again, and while I like the Sanctuary, I'm quickly remembering how irritating it is to press start to save and then ending up in there instead of with a quick menu with a 'save' option. >.o

Your home bed serves a purpose in the likes of New Vegas and Skyrim.

I don't see why you couldn't do something along similar lines in DA3. A little more interactivity is always appreciated. Choices are good.

That is actually a really good idea! Make it happen Bioware! ^_^

I totally agree It would add to immersion to be able to sleep in-game as a way to save and then see the character wake up the next morning. It would actually be a one up from ME2 where you just lay in your LI's arm's or talk on your LI's lap until you want to stop cuddling or talking. lol I thought it was rather wierd honestly. This way it feels more natural as it is something done when interacting with the bed to go to sleep. It flows naturally.

That being said I just want to add I hope they bring back being able to interact with the protagonist's living quarters. I thought it add to the game to be able to interact with all the different things around the mansion and liked hearing that my protagonist's friends would come by the house and talk to Hawke outside of needing some sort of help. Just as friends. It was a nice touch. Ex: How Merrill comes by and waters Hawke's plants while the protagonist is away. Or the letters from Carver or Bethany in the letter pile I liked especially since it felt that they were still in the protagonists life even if they were away being a warden or in the circle.

My favorite though is Hawke looking at the crest sideways and covering a part of it by Isabela's request & Hakwe proclaiming she/he can't unsee that! :P I always wanted to know what my Hawke was suppose to see! LOL

I agree. Give some function to the nice objects you put in this world.

I think it'd be cool. I'd also like the option to be able to sit in chairs like other have said. I loved just going to a tavern in skyrim ,sitting down, and ordering some food. It made the game seem so lifelike.
