The only problem with them is that they're better at range yet their inability to take cover makes that difficult. Especially on Dagger.

So what happens when folks who want to play as Volus have to host their own games, but then they still get kicked? They don't to play because of some libertarian non-cooperative douchebaggery?

The funny part is how 97% of players in PUGs make terrible teammates anyway. You can't even tell them by their loadouts anymore. By this logic I should kick everyone who wasn't invited to the match.

Kicking characters based on "lore" in a MP game is ridiculous.

I will refuse to kick any player out that plays a volus.

In fact, once I get a volus, if I see the group trying to kick the volus player, I will switch to mine as well.

Your "proof" if you call it that is nothing but hot air. The N7 spec ops were comprised of experienced mercs and soldiers. Where exactly can you point at to say there is an experienced merc Volus or and experience Volus soldier?

The closest you come is the Auxilary units for the Turians, and even those Volus wouldnt see combat. As I said earlier, they are not suited for combat. Instead their support rolls would be more along the lines of a quartermaster or supply officer. Unless of course logic isnt used in deployments and we all know the Turians dont use logic in their military..../sarcasim (yes you get this bit of sarcasim because I am tired of arguments like yours that have no basis in the ME universe).

Also I have prepared a plan in case of a zombie apocalypse. So yes I would survive, at least for a time. But thats besides the point. Even if you armed the Volus they physically are not up to the task of combat. Thats why they are a protectorate of the Turian Empire. Thats why war is all but non-existant on their planet. Heck even in their descriptions for War Assets it states they prefer air attacks instead of infantry fights.

Next time take your petty insults elsewhere. They dont matter much here as you have provided absolutely no proof to substantiate your claims.

Just because most volus are unsuited to combat roles doesnt mean they all are, after all, you could say most humans are unsuited for warfare as well. Also, given the casualty rates of even veteran combat units stated throughout ME3, "experienced" could be little more than "survived the last 24 hours.

The people who insta-kick volus are loosing out on one of the BEST support classes in the game. Shield Boost is a massive lifesaver.

You volus haters... have you even tried one of them yet? I got the engineer to lvl 14 and ripped thru gold using him, he's a walking shield booster for everyone and that recon mine wrecks everything. I wasn't thrilled about the little bastards running around the battlefield but I have since changed my tune. Once the laughter subsides from watching a midget run around a map, it's game on as usual. 3 volus on a team is hilarious...and deadly for the enemy. Try before you hate, and kicking due to lore issues is real classy <_<

I use to get kicked all the time back in the day when I used my BF3 soldier. I never could quite figure it out. I thought maybe people think it is a sucky character? Because I always had a good time with it.

I thought, it couldn't possibly have to do with him not "fitting in" with ME, that would be the silliest thing ever, its a MP game.

that was before I lurked over here so I don't know if there was a debate, but now I realize, there were probably people who did it, because it didn't fit their "lore". So dumb.

If I even cared to play MP anymore I'd probably leave any games with volus in them. In my experience I already had to baby-sit some of the people I've played with, no way in hell would I increase that by playing with a class that's can't do anything useful without nearly dying each time.

In other news though, since MP is a complete joke now I guess Hanar are a shoo in?

On topic: Until I can see someone who can USE one of these bloody things (eight match in only one without a Volus...) they're getting kicked.
Yes I bet most of you people can play one of these kits and your friends can, then feel free to join me in a lobby. The last few matches were hell with those toys in our team that's for bloody sure.
