They're not there to rack up the kills. They're there to keep your ass alive. If you really don't need any help, then boss it out solo. Otherwise, even the Volus have their uses.

Geth turret of the GE also generates shields AND he can do damage. I'm all open for a support class. But it has to bring more to the table than what the volus are bringing atm.

Well, let's see how supportive they will be after the first weeks.

They only fight when it's about spaceship battle.

Not griefing at all. It's called "My Lobby, My Rules". A Volus is about as durable as a really wee leaf that someone already almost tore completely in two but left a millimeter of leaf to hold the two bits together so they don't just fall apart. I would never, ever allow a class like that on my team in a serious game if all they can do is restore shields which does bugger all for me because I'm a Krogan player, I have shields a-plenty and a fairly effective number of ways to regenerate them without a wasted teammate I constantly have to pick up off the ground. You wanna play a joke character, fine, don't expect me to carry your arse.

Oh yeah, one more thing, if my votekick attempt fails, I categorically refuse to revive any downed Volus teammate.  Creds be damned...

I don't have any problem with the lore and Volus. I think even Volus would fight in this situation and since I gained a few Volus War assets, why not accept a few Volus soldiers?

The question is whether the mp characters make any sense and I admit I haven't seen enough Volus players in action to pass judgement.
Still, autokicking every Volus seems a bit over the top. I can't believe they are so badly balanced that a good player can't do his part in a game.

But the OP sure posted some rubbish argumentation in his post and that's a totally different thing altogether.

Yes lets ignore the fact that they basically have 5 skills and some of the best powers in the game. They even a passive 5 second tactical cloak that doesn't effect powers or drop when you fire your weapon instead of a light melee. Heavy melee gets a defense bubble. Not to mention adepts can apply a 45% damage increase against any target for 6 seconds.

explain it all you like, a fat puggy alien that should die the instaint his suit gets puctured does not belong in the mp, that and volus are fraking annoying as hell.
