Not griefing at all. It's called "My Lobby, My Rules". A Volus is about as durable as a really wee leaf that someone already almost tore completely in two but left a millimeter of leaf to hold the two bits together so they don't just fall apart. I would never, ever allow a class like that on my team in a serious game if all they can do is restore shields which does bugger all for me because I'm a Krogan player, I have shields a-plenty and a fairly effective number of ways to regenerate them without a wasted teammate I constantly have to pick up off the ground. We wanted to expand on the available races to something less conventional to represent the continuing state of the war. We also wanted to build a pure support class, it's something we've seen requested more then a few times, and the Volus were an interesting opportunity to build a very non-traditional character with a power suite built around staying out of front line combat and an emphasis about boosting team score over personal score.

One of my best friends likes Niki Minaj, and I don't, and we can be in peace without making a big deal about it. Accept it, people are different.
2. Volus-haters - while I do admit that kicking them Volus would be fun, I don't think this is in the good spirit of a co-op game. If you don't like them so much - better just leave the lobby yourself - it's more classy that way and there will be no rampant whining from people that they've been kicked.
