Don't worry, give it about two weeks until one of the elite players demonstrates their potential on Youtube, then all these idiots will jump the bandwagon like lemmings.
No seriously, one of them will demonstrate how they're essentially biotic grenadiers with recharging grenades combined with group buff skills and will find the gun that hits the sweet spot... and that will end the argument.

I got a surprise for you jackass. MP is NOT about lore. Nope. Nadda. If you want lore go play SP.
Really? Coz last time I checked the SP cares as much about their lore as the MP does.

How is it greefing when you are acting upon a personal preference? I dont like playing with Krogen so I either leave or boot. Thats not greefing its expression of personal preference.

So we should all be forced to play with obnoxious Volus characters because you can't be arsed to find a new game?

If you want to leave fine. But you don't have to right to deprive another person of playing a class they want just because of your bratty intolerance.
Especially if the classes are actually useful on the battlefield.

LOL at those that think volus don't fit in the lore.....
Seriously, Volus are in the lore.
Goddamn, they fight against extinction, even an old lady in a wheelchair could take a shotgun to defend her home.
next DLC, Admiral Hacketts grandmother character, which can only equip shotguns and moves around in a wheelchair

Auto-kicking a walking shield generator? The fools!
A fourth and efficient team member putting out some serious DPS would be peferable.
My mic will be on, and the kick button will be ready.
Once you see it, you'll know that it was I who brought down the final judgment

Host a game, problem solved.
Hosts aren't immune from kicking. The three entering your room could very well kick you out. Majority rules.
Having said that, I was someone completely and totally indifferent towards Volus being added. So, you have at least one person on PS3 who solemnly swears to never kick a Volus. You have safe harbor here, my roly-poly little friends.

Guess some people don't like heals. I love the Volus healer (adept), it's a nice character to have tag along as you out town with your human soldier and Harrier.
Not an attack against the volus, but I am pretty sure I'd still rather have a GI/Destroyer next to me rather than a volus.

No, I will kick any and all that I see.
They don't belong in the front lines.
Get over it.

Ok seriously, what is people's issue with volus? It's just a MP character. Why would anyone care to kick people who play them. (not that I plan to play one. Infiltrator for life)
The geeks are nerd-raging because they think they know Mass Effect lore better than Bioware.
The only fix for nerd-rage is sunlight.

I have every right considering it is also my gaming experience, not just yours. Its no different than booting somebody for taking till next year to ready up. You mess with my gaming experience and I will do something about it.
Its not greefing in the least.
Also if one of those crappy characters happens to appear in an ongoing game of mine I will quit as I refuse to play with them.

No you wouldn't. Area shield boost is pretty awesome.
Worked like charm in previous game, this guy kept running with our squad keeping our shield up while we just pastered everything up. Awesome.

I was thinking more along the lines of Ceaser being reanimated and waving his laurals at the Reapers in spite whilest getting stabbed in the back again.

If they kick you, report them. The more reports that come in for certain players the more obvious it is they are griefing and should be banned.
I'll make it easy for you, go ahead and report me now 'cause if votekicking Volus is wrong, I don't wanna be right...
Oh yeah, one more thing, if my votekick attempt fails, I categorically refuse to revive any downed Volus teammate. Creds be damned...
Now there is a good reason to kick someone, intentionally sabotaging the team's chances for success. Way worse than playing a "joke" character.
