So now I am a racist? So anybody who choose not to associate with another race is instantly vilified? I dont like most "African Americans", not because of their skin tone but because of their actions. Sure there are lots of cool "African Americans" out there who are perfectly legit but there are plenty who are not. Just like any other color out there. Who I choose to associate with is my own business and I would greatly appreciate it if you do not make any assumptions about my life or personal preferences. If I want you to know them I would tell you.

Umm they are taking up a spot on the team that can be far better filled by another character which has a higher DPS as well as survivability. Hell yes they negatively affect my gaming experience. I dont care what you say about their abilities, they are a liability in any game as they have no durability, no offensive worth.

I play as a AJA alot and I am a supporter through most of the game with my bubble and spamming reave to set up BDs. I rez people all the bloody time and my bubble provides not only DR but DI to mooks within its range and lets me set off my own BDs. And I dont have to worry about going down from a stiff breeze cause my shield and health are decent.

I have no issue with their abilities. My issue is with the species themselves. They have absolutely no business being in any sort of combat roll what so ever.

You aren't fit to be a judge of how well a person can play his character. Volus are meant to be heavy support classes and benefit their team in ways other than DPS. So no, that's not an argument either.

And again, with the species, you having to acknowledge their character model (which just happens to be a Volus) is the only way you are negatively affected. They have more right to be there than not.

Every player has the right to expect a team to their liking. It doesnt mean they will always get it. And when it doesnt happen then either you boot and find somebody new or you leave and play with others.

Either way you are able to actively contribute in the making of each and every team you play on. If you dont like a particular character or player being on the team then you have the option of doing something about it.

Which is what I do when I see those turd balls show up in lobbies.

I just find it slightly more adult not to try kicking the biotics (lobby leader including) for wanting to try an all biotics team.

The mature way is to leave them to their own game and find/create another one to your own liking.

The problem is, if you dont want to play with them, that is fine, but thats on you. You should be the one waiting for a game, not the other person.

If I vote kick and nobody else does then thats exactly what I do. I give everybody in the lobby the chance to make their own minds up and if its not what I am looking for then I leave.

I dont see a problem with this.

i think the irony is, that at the very least the adept and engineer have the best support abilities ive seen, auto recover on shield, quick detonations of stasis explosions, and those mines that reveal the location of everything on the map. I dont see anything else that can really compare to that tbh

I dont care if its an all biotics team. I have said multiple times in multiple threads, I have no issues with their abilities. I have issues with the species they chose to have those abilities when they are not within sight range of plausability for combat.

I don't know if you realize this, but it takes 3 votes to kick someone, not one. It's absolutely absurd to claim that they should all find a new game without the Volus.

Unfourunately, mob mentality makes that not mean much. If one person places a vote kick on someone 99% of the time, the other people pile on without even knowing why. The simple act of placing a single vote virtually garuntees a kick, unless someone actually takes a second to realize, "Wait a minute, that person isn't even doing anything wrong."

I can play Volus with people on my friends list until some of the negative clears up. I just feel really bad for the Bioware team. Spending all that time away from friends and family to make people FREE STUFF to see so many complaints about it.

Its not my responcibility to moniter any choices made by other players in reguards to kicking. Each player has the capacity to view and decide if they want to kick or not. You can not put the blame on the person who initiated the kick vote as they are expressing their personal opinions.

If the others kicked as well then the matter is settled. Does it make it right 100% of the time, nope. It does however give the opportunity for players to make the choice themselves.

So please dont place the blaim on one person when it is a group thing.

Yep. It happens, and I am unfazed by it. If they decide not to kick then I leave simple as that. No harm done to other parties. They all have the choice to not vote to kick.

I am not forcing them to kick somebody if they dont want to. In which case I excersize my own control over my game and leave the lobby to find one more suitable to my tastes.

Again where is the issue with what I am doing? Is it that your personally affronted by me not wanting to play with a Volus? If thats the case then too bad, its the internet. Grow a spine and deal with it. Personal preference is all you get on the internet. Excersize your own in your lobbies. Or is this asking too much of people these days?

And yes I am being snide, but also serious. If you realistically can not promote your own personal preferences while playing a game then you really have no business playing it online.
