THe volus adept appears to be a total support character....Bioware as even flat out said that it is NOT supposed to be a frontline fighter...

And that is why I'll be kicking any volous I see... Its a frontline game, we are ment to take the brunt.
Volous can't and I refuse to acompany them to their inevitable deaths.

omg I demand it! I just giggle uncontrollably when I play as this little guy. Its funny as hell when you join in the middle of a match and you run past everyone on your team and they all do a double take. The bowling ball melee would make me laugh even harder.

You're all dumb. The volus adept is the new sniper class. Stasis enemy + TC melee? Has no one else noticed that? On top of that, spec orbs for cool downs and it means you can carry heavy SRs like the widow and get away with it. Use shield boost to get out of sticky situations and your low health as a reminder to cloak often and stay back. Support? Maybe fire support.

I was wandeing about that cloak melee. Does anyone know if you get a damage boost from it? Or is it just a cloak without the damage boost?

Oh my goodness that scan mine is awesome! You take out whole groups of Collector troops with them! I really thought Bioware was trolling us with those volus pics, knowing they'd be leaked. I thought that the Volus were a cover for some Prothean kits, but I'm a Volus believer now!

me (n7 fury) a voldept and 2 demolishers just rocked gold collector reactor

voldept is amazing person to have on a team, instant shield restore, the tact cloak stays on long enough to revive teammates and it sets off BE's

used in the right hands, major asset

I got him. The adept. He is awesome. I can constantly heal ppls shields like mad and i am in auto cover cuz im so short haha. I love the little guy. Just dont expect a good score. But hey: team game folks.

I don't know, I saw some videos and volus really feels out of place, and the fact that such an squishy character can't take cover makes them too vulnerable, since you will need to completely expose yourself in order to attack an enemy.

1200ish damage very quickly in 3 meters
Heals shields better and faster than the Geth Engineer while granting DR
