Awesome implementation. More variation in future DLCs with the remaining races would also be welcomed.

At first I was skeptical about the short dudes as a support class idea. But then...
First match I played as a Volus was in Firebase Dagger. As soon as I got to the overlook window, I cracked up: the Volus is too short to shoot out the window!
Then, just because, I decided to put a Widow on my Volus Adept. The gun is bigger than he is!!
The best part: I was 2nd on the scoreboard.. oh yeah.
My recommendation to all Volus out there: paint your Volus in bright blue and red colors, slap an Adrenaline Mod III on him, and hum Sonic the Hedgehog''s tune while you zip across the map! Priceless!

They are fun and funny! And, what's even better, they are actually useful!!
A welcome addition to the roster. Good job Bioware.

Great joke race BioWare. I mean how little health/shields/barrier they get how little damage they do. The fact they can't take cover.

Well, I was worried that they'd become a "joke" race and that their entire character would be centered around making the player laugh. Very glad to see I was wrong. While I would've preferred more new powers/appearances for the other new characters (based off of the glitch that allowed us to see their character portraits), I've come to enjoy the purely supportive role they play.
Edit: Making them Ultra Rare was a good idea, since they are both rare on the battlefield and quite unique from other kits. I support Ultra Rare characters, especially if them being so one of a kind is what we can expect.

I've been enjoying kicking around with my Volus Adept. Once I got the hang of actually playing like a cowardly little windbag, that is!
A really fun addition to the game!

I really like the Volus. Initially I was going to think how they could possibly contribute to the team since they're not exactly the most intimidating front-line combatants, but it seems it turned out very well.
It's funny to have a small "obese" race running around between our feet now and then. I wonder what it would be like to have a full team of them on Gold or Platinum though. Especially if it's the Collectors.

Thinking about Volus...
Yes, they are a good asset.
After a mission, nothing comes in better like a round of earth football.

I tend to prefer serious, hard, gritty sci-fi, so I was a bit skeptical, but the Volus are done fairly well. Keeping the game fresh and new demands creative additions, which is what I see here. Well done, Bioware.

I didn't expect to like them, but I do! Especially the Volus Engineer and his Recon Mine. The explosions are quite satisfying.
On a different note, more Salarians next time?

still think dedicating a character for support wasnt needed, cause i think support is an option to how someone plays, not based off character used....with that said, i dig the new additions....i havent used 1 yet, but i ran with some last night and it was fun as hell....they are just a funny and fun character to see/hear/interact with....it kills me when they say 'danger' after being shot lol....

Quite ballsy but I'll admit I had a lot of fun playing those little bowling balls. Now, about my Salarian soldier with flashbang grenades.....

Silly and I'm not a fan, but at least they seem incredibly squishy.

I got the volus adept last night and played 3 games with him.
Very fun character, and very tricky to play.
great job, thanks!

Loving it. I thought you guys might be implementing them as a joke class, or implementing them in a way that would make them effective, but stupidly so, whereas they're actually implemented well and fun to play as.
Good job, BioWARE.

Have not figured out how to build them to be worth using. There is more benefits to playing something else due to not being able to see over the waist level cover that the other characters can a) take cover in and
can see over it.

Pulled an engineer last night, and I was really impressed with him. Loved the idea of tactical cloak for his light melee. Was not expecting that at all.

The Volus are OP, please nerf them! (wink, wink!) Also, some N7 Volus agents have reported to suffer of the 'Little Man Sindrome'...which affects short little guys that have a hard time getting into cover or hoping over high objects. (wink, wink!)

Nice abilities but I hate that you chose the Volus to fill in that class. So many better species to fill those spaces which actually make sense in combat.

VOLUS IN MULTIPLAYER?! I'd never have guessed!

It's stupid. Ignoring races that actually engage in combat (Salarians, for example) to shoehorn this joke of a character into the multiplayer game. It really is silly.
