Look fella, let me level with you. No matter what culture and I've experience quite a few cultures (and no cultures that don't live in a civilisation such as wild tribes in the jungle don't count) all consider women with hairless legs attractive. And while some women may find hairless chests attractive on a guy others don't.

The difference, nearly EVERY man, regardless of culture don't like to see women with hairy legs. It's the whole part of what's feminine and what's masculine, you dig?

Because you generally walk up to every other man you meet and ask them if they prefer women with hair/no hair on their legs, yes? Yeah...when you start speaking for the majority instead of yourself, it's time to pull out the statistical data charts to back up your claims.

It's funny it's easy to find polls and surveys whether or not women prefer men with hairy chests or not, while the only surveys I can find on google deals with the question whether or men prefer if women shave down under or not.

To use a German word, it is selbstverständlich that men prefer hairless legs.

This is going nowhere. Back to the thing I originally quoted:

M25105 wrote...

Just cause fashion magazines and GQ says you should shave your chest (for God knows what reason) doesn't mean you have to do it. Sport your chest hairs guy and be proud of it.

It's the same as me saying:
"Shave your chest hair off and be proud of it."

And the same as saying the same to a woman to stop shaving her legs and be proud of it.

That's basically it. I don't have a problem with anyones chest hair, it's only the fact that it is an opinion.

A beard is enough for me, every man should have a beard. I don't particularly care if I see any guys in the game topless, hair or no.

Guys, guys, please, chest hair aside, I am totally for the inclusion of cauliflower ears, as it would totally increase immersion! When I RP, I want to play MY character and NOT Bioware's! Also, the option for my character's 2nd toe to be longer should also be included, as I always RP a character with Morton's syndrome and not having this is truly game-breaking for me and, from what I've seen, the majority as well.

We should only get cauliflower ears if there's a possibility of them bursting upon being struck and spewing forth gooey chunder.

Ladies need ear hair, leg hair, and pit hair

I also wouldn't mind a nice arm hair coat on everyone

A pink dress don't protect your face in the weather, do you have issues with body and facial hair by the way?

The point, you are missing it lol. Opinion of the majority is not the criateria for truth. Opinion is not something that has any strength behind it at all. I've told you the core issue. It's the same thing!

He really, really is missing the point.  As a heterosexual male, I think hairy legs on women are not sexy.  That's because literally in every single magazine, movie, advertisement women have shaved legs.  This is a socially constructed concept of beauty.  Occassionally social constructs such as this will fluctuate.  For example, chest hair is in a state of flux right now because it used to be the norm but now we see plenty of media where men have shaved chests.  Some women like chest hair, some women don't.  Another example is women's...ahem...nether-region hair.  You look at Playboy from the 70s and Playboy today and I think anyone would be able to instantly identify a huge difference.  Not that I've ever looked at Playboy for any reasons other than sociological curiosity and for the articles, of course.

If it is SO feminine to have hairless legs and armpits, then why do women grow hair there? A hairless body equaling feminity is a social construct, not biological fact.

Not an issue, I simply dislike it on myself, think that it looks bad. And so obviously disagree with statements about males HAVING to have it.

I'm down with chest hair as long as it looks clean and well-kept.

But more than that I want the option of adding a treasure trail to my character. I don't even know why, but that **** is hot.

Oh hell yes. I'm not a fan of chest hair on dudes (except in some instances where it's not too bad. It's kinda like beards, you have to have a certain look to pull it off, but if you try to and you can't pull it off it looks awful)

But happy trails are great on everyone. Men, women, they just look great.

One of the things that I noticed about my Skyrim character when shirtless was the chest/back hair.

Perhaps it should be optional, but I prefer for my characters who can grow full beards to also have some hair below the neck.  It would make sense for someone who is constantly traveling, including months in the Deep Roads, to have at least some body hair, unless they are getting themselves waxed somewhere off-screen.
