Some powers and abilities are not used in the challenge system because they were not able to be tracked in a particularly good way.

Phase Disruptor isn't Biotic or tech I believe which would explain the sifficulty in tracking it plus it's not cooldown based

Will players be informed of these challenges via the splash screen?  Also, do you have any guesses how long we'll have to complete these time sensitive events and how frequent these will be?

Can I complete a sub-challenge several times in order to complete a challenge? For example, for Sniper Rifle Mastery, can I just do the same sniper rifle over and over, or do I actually need to use all the sniper rifles?

Dont need to do all but you cant repeat the same one over and over.

First of all, thanks a lot.. as If I wasn't addicted to this game enough already... Great stuff, guys.

How are the points determined for combo kills (ex, annihilation field + throw)? Is it based only on the damage done from the skill prior to the detonation, or are the total number of points from the detonation divided/shared between the two skills somehow?


Also not really a question, just something to consider to add to the first-page FAQ: Map challenges are awarded for the difficulty you play on as well as all of the levels below (ie. A gold match will add to the challenge on bronze and silver also). PS. Thanks for this

Hi there. I've noticed that on my profile/N7 HQ page, two of my previously unlocked achievements are now shown as locked. Namely Insanity and Unwavering. And since I've unlocked them months ago, I don't think it's a case of the site/page not having updated yet (everything else on my HQ page seems to be fine). I've checked in-game and they're definitely still unlocked there.

So I just did a few rounds of multiplayer and checked the challenges to see what had updated and saw something that confused me a bit. In Map Mastery, having done two Platinum Hazzard Firebase Dagger matches, two Firebase White Golds, and one Firebase Reactor Gold, the challenge tree registered that I had I completed sections for Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum even though I have yet to actually do anything on SIlver or Bronze.

Specifically, it registered that I had completed twenty waves of Bronze and Silver for Firebase White and ten waves of Bronze and Silver for Firebase Reactor. The Platinum Hazzard Firebase Dagger didn't register as having completed the specific maps, but it did register that I had done twenty waves of Bronze, Silver, and Gold Hazzard waves.

Was this purposefully done or was it a mix up in tracking the challenges since there are several challenges that have several tiers that are tracked at the same time (i.e. the Promoting a Character tiers.)

Straight after installing the dlc, so before being able to complete any challenge, once i logged in, in the character selection screen, on the bottom of each character class I saw a random number and the challenge logo. What do these numbers mean?

My N7HQ page doesn't list my success on Operation Raptor, but I'm sure I did. I might have had to contact EA Live Chat to get my commendation pack though, maybe that's the reason ? Is it possible to validate it ?

Is it possible to change language for HQ into English ? Numerous translation errors, and fonts \\ page formatting make my eyes bleed.

I haven't found any "settings" page apart from the one in which you can link your id to account.

I've been looking at the Blood Pack stuff and something is bothering me: why does Ballistic Blades need 50k points and Submission Net need 80k? Blades deal massive damage to large groups while the net deals low/average damage to 1-3 guys at a time. I got the Blades Challenge in less than 3 games but the Net is going to take weeks, probably.

Either BB is too easy or SN is too hard.

Almost hate to bring this up, but will sabotage ever get fixed? I play a FQI often and tend to do a LOT of damage with that power, but it doesn't count towards challenges since points for backfire or even outright kills using nothing but sabotage get ignored.

It's a really fun power to use, but it feels a bit neglected. It doesn't appear to be in the tech challenge, either.

I am having a problem with my N7 HQ overview page : it says I have played 0 hour... although last night when I checked (let's see, that was ~11 hours ago) it said 200-something hours. Known bug ?
The number of games seems to be correct, though I haven't manually tracked it myself
