You wont lose progress, but without retaliation you wont gain it

Just completed the Geth Mastery challenge and as others have said my silver challenges did not all reset. Yes, I know this is a known issue (but I really wanted this banner). For me, here is what reset:

• Geth Trooper Points 1, 2 and 3 (where 1 and 2 were completed fully).
• Geth Bomber Points 1, 2 and 3 (where 1 and 2 were completed fully)

Everything else did not reset. In my case the following are still showing as completed after the gold challenge award:

• Geth Pyro Points 1 and 2.
• Geth Rocket Trooper Points 1 and 2.
• Geth Hunter Points 1 and 2.
• Geth Prime Points 1.

The now new completion progress of this gold challenge correctly shows 0/12 however. I was awarded the gold challenge.

Not sure if this information helps Bioware or not, but, as an engineer, more information is usually better when determing the root cause of an issue.

As of right now, when this particular issue is resolved it is no big deal to me if my Geth Master silver challenges are all reset back to 0 as I now plan on moving on to other enemy factions.

Question about Lone Wolf challenge: Is there anyway to make a match 'Invite Only', I know a few people (And myself) who have had gold/platinum solo rounds ruined from a friend joining.
Even if you make sure to message all your friends and tell them not to join, you might have that one friend who'd think it's funny to join you 10 minutes later.

Why is there no challenge involving the Common human characters (the six we had free when we first started the game) and the battlefield 3 soldier. Have looked through the challenges found most of the Uncommon and Rare characters but not them?

What of the new characters from Retaliation not out yet, will these be incorporated into existing / new challenges?

if you complete a platinum solo round it should show in your banner.

One more curious bug: There were many times that I was alive but didn't get credit for extracting (I see this is noted), but yesterday I got credit for extracting when I went down in the zone with 5 seconds left and didn't have a medigel. (I completed the Defender banner on this game.)  Could the sporadic extraction issues be that it's giving credit to the wrong players somehow?  That would explain why it seemed to give credit sometimes but not always, and full extractions were the only surefire way to earn them.

... so problably the issue I've sent is already on investigation. But because you only talk of the partial extractions, please notice that I've also come across problems with full extractions. The example below are recent ones, but I can assure you I have more full extractions missing (I'm missing mainly the platinum ones ... in fact, all of them)

Another question about weapons and ammo: if I have to complete the SMG challenge, can I do it faster using explosive ammo? This should increase the damage of the weapon, allowing me to fill the bar faster...

Speaking of old things: why are there no challenges regarding the original human kits? Or for clarity, you can complete a challenge for waves extracted for Asari Adept, but not Human Adept, etc.

Also, on a tech issue of sorts: my individual promotes per class don't add up to my grand total of promotes. This obviously also affects my N7 rating, and EMS in SP. How can I have this fixed, if at all?

Squad Elite Survival Medals is broken methinks.

I recently acquired the Survival Medals accomplishment, and as you can see, even though I have 6 of the accomplishment bars filled under the Squad Elite challenge, Squad Elite says that I've only completed 5 of the accomplishments.

I apparently found two bugs in the challenge system:

The first: yesterday I did two extractions with the Geth Engineer (one full and one partial) but only the full extraction was registered for the challenge (although I received the bonus credits on both).

The second: when using Arc Grenades with the Quarian Infiltrator, the grenade points haven't been added to Combat Mastery challenge. Is that possibly caused because I threw them while cloaked?

Can you check on those ?

I wish you could add challenges regarding the basic human characters since their powers are included in other categories. Also, why no Salarian Proximity Mine? The Turian Proximity mine is there. Other than that, great job on the challenges, I love them.

I ran with both the QMI and the QME and neither of them generated points in Grenade.  I think that the system is not recording any of the Arc grenade damage.

Any chance you could add description text for each evolution on the Character builds screen in the N7 HQ. Perhaps add it as hover-text to each node in the trees.

Also, I doubt this is will happen, but it would be nice to see previous builds (i.e. those that have been promoted/reset)

first of all, thanks for all the time you pour into this thread. Much appreciated!

Two questions I want to add to the fray:
- Is there a chance that the challenge points for 200 Havok/Ghost waves will be awarded after the bug is fixed? Not that I'm personally that desperate for those 40 points, though I'd hate to have those played hours go to waste.
- In Squad Elite, I have challenges with two full bars (BExtractions and Survival Medals), yet my current progress says 1/8. Is that an exclusive thing for me, or are more people experiencing this?

Bryan is out today so I'm not sure if he'll be responding. It looks like the bug is that the "Times Completed" value is still at 0 for the Turian Ghost and Turian Havoc even though you've completed the required number of waves. In the meantime you can try completing the Salarian Engineer and Asari Justicar challenges to get the 12/12 and hopefully that will cause it to unlock.

Does the shield boost of the volus stack with the stim pack/geth turret/demolisher pylon?

How does shield boosting work? When you put a shield boosting equipment on say, a turian ghost, does the percentage of increase add up from the raw score or does it include the stim pack?

With a destroyer, does a gear or equipment percentage of increase add up from the base or including the shields added with devastator mode?
