I'm having a problem with the challenges Combat Mastery, Cerberus Mastery, Reaper Mastery and Geth Mastery, I had already completed them once before their Silver challenge requirements increased, and before that some hadn't reset after I completed them, and now these silver challenges aren't counting for the Gold completion, what do I do to fix this? I want to be able to complete them again, but with this issue it'll be impossible.

I think the challenge system is forcing many people to go solo to get banners, I havent played a gold or platinum match with my friends in a while, because im going for all these challenges. While it forces me to play with characters i wont normally play with or weapons i wont normally use, its not completely enjoyable, though I am proud of myself for soloing a silver.

They are working on this problem along with others such as the survival medals not registering towards your Squad Elite gold and another,the Turian Havoc extractions, not registering for the Commando mastery.

 They are in a bad state, because you completed it before the change on the amount of silver challenges required, which they did to stop players form getting this bug. They are working on something to fix our account, so we can do the challenges again.

 I'm with the Geth mastery locked, I'm avoiding geths for now =(

Apologies if this question has been asked/answered, but are there plans to add new banners for specific powers, characters, or weapons? Say I am really proud of my use of Snap Freeze, or the Krogan Vanguard, or the Particle Rifle; would it be possible to add banners specific to those? Maybe have an increased point requirement. It'd be cool to have a "Particle Rifle Master" in lieu of "Marksman".

go to the challenges menu, select a gold challenge you completed, you gonna see a button below that set the banner =)

You can do this through the N7 HQ too (challenge awards).

something like "complete particle rifle silver challenges N times to unlock a particle rifle banner". This would be cool...

On my N7HQ page, on the "Challenges" tab, the only ones I can see are the ones under General. Clicking on the Aliens and Weapons tabs does nothing. (I have the latest Java build/update.) Hovering yields the standard "javascript:;"
The other sections of the HQ work for me (e.g., the Characters tab), but not Challenges
Would be nice to be able to check my progress....

Update to Firefox 16, and things will work (the issue is with using an outdated version of Firefox).

Hello

Have some problems with the N7 HQ and the Challenges.
I've completed the Geth Challenge before the last balance changing.
Now i've already 93% done but only a progress of 6/18. See picture.
What is right? I'm a little bit confused. It semms to me that there is a bug ...



Can i/you fix that?

There is, in fact, a bug peda and the bug is the reason the requirements were increased as a temporary measure.
See those multi-tiered silver medals like Geth Trooper? If you complete say, #1 and #2, and then get the gold medal, #1 and #2 get reset but #3 does not, but neither does it actually EVER get flagged as complete, preventing that particular silver medal and also the golden medal from being reacquired. This is the 'bad state' mentioned in previous posts.

For biotic explosions, how are they registered? Do you only get credit for those you trigger (get the kill for) or do you get credit for someone else triggering yours? The three cases of biotic explosions: I use warp and trigger with shockwave. Teammate uses warp, I trigger with shockwave. I use warp, teammate triggers with shockwave. Which of these cases do I get credited for?

I'm not sure you get your challenge points when you quit a game after getting a challenge completed. I don't keep track of my points perfectly, but I think I had not got points for "200 waves as a Turian Soldier".

Edit: ok, I had to restart the game to make it appear both ingame and HQ.

You get first aid medals for 5, 10 and 15 teammate revives.

 I heard that if you unlock the same banner multiple times, then it gets some kind of border around it.  Is this true, or false?

I don't think so. I have completed the Lone Wolf challenge 4 times and it just looks the same.

Wondering this too.

Currently only have a little bit left to go on Hunter points 3 and Prime points 3, it's 10/18... Not sure if I reach the max on those 2 what exactly happens.

Afraid to play Geth until I know what exactly it would do. Does it get extra bugged?

I don't think you can remove them once you have started using them.

I believe a developer said they would look into adding the option to have no banner set.  I hope they add this option.

Not sure if this has been asked but as you add the retaliation characters will the corresponding alien challenges like commando require more than the current 12 challenges completed to unlock the banner.
