Also, very cool to see total time playing we've logged, as well as number of matches. Image IPB

However, appears to be some issues with achievements/trophies unlocked. None of the trophies I unlocked from completing Leviathan DLC are showing as completed in the N7 headquarters... but they're there on my PS3. Image IPB

Will check out tomorrow, thank you

Are there possibilities of there being rewards in the shape of weapons or characters or even Credits in the future?

Anything is possible ;)

We are looking into the issue of the Resurgence Operative not showing as earned. More on this soon.

If you complete a silver challenge, can you complete it again and have it count towards the gold challenge? Say I completed the viper challenge. Can I complete it again to put points towards sniper mastery, or do I have to switch to alternate rifles?

Typing this out now makes me think that only the latter applies, so sorry if this was a stupid question.

You have to change rifles it will only reset to 0 when you have completed the gold level challenge

When it says get <____> many points using <____> power/grenade, does that mean you have to get kills, or use that power on something you killed? If the latter, how are points allotted for skills like pull, that might not even do damage?

No you dont need to kill and yes pull does damage

With regards to the Squad Elite - N7 Weekend Challenges items, is it possible for Bioware to retrieve and award/ upate based on past Weekend Challenges completed by a player? To be honest, the information is already available in the player manifest, so it is obviously something that can be fished out. Just whether it can be easily updated in.

For other items I feel we can start from zero as of Retaliation, but Weekend Challenges are something that is rather long running and a special case. Even if we move back to the weekly instead of fortnightly Challenges, it's still going to take till Christmas 2012.. more likely early 2013 for enough Weekend Challenges to take place before anyone can get the awards. For those of us who stuck through MP for the last 6 to 7 months and faithfully attempted every operation, it is a bit of kick in the pants. Would be nice to a bit of recognition for long-service and all that.

Even though that is there, we cant award it in that way because the challenge system has to be earned ingame, if we set that data for you, it wouldnt be earned it would be set, and therefore invalid and lead you to being in a locked out state.

Bryan, Jesse - The direct link provided by Jesse earlier in this thread

http://social.bioware.com/n7hq/

Will not display correctly under this circumstance:

- This is from a PC perspective: my BSN username is different from my Origin ID. Clicking the link as above redirects to the URL with the BSN name. The issue is that with the BSN name in the URL the stats will show everything clean, i.e. no data available. The layman way to rectify this on the user end would be to either

1) Replace the BSN username in the URL to the Origin ID
2) Click on the "My Account" tab and then click the Origin ID under the PC box.

I understand this may be a minor annoyance, but it might be trouble some other players as well. Can the direct URL somehow be redirected appropriately to show the proper page for the player in this circumstance?

Edit: Additional Info - Clicking on the "Galaxy at War" menu header and then clicking back on "Profile" will revert the URL back with the BSN username, and either of the steps above has to be done to view the profile page properly again.

Click on my games and go to "activate game profile"

How come on my page the first 3 N7 Ops, Goliath, Raptor and Resurgence, are grayed out?

Weren't us PS3 players given credit for those later on, or was that a different set?

Given credit to, yes, completed the actual challenge, no.

I have completed 3 silver challenges
Biotic Explosions Detonated 1 - 10 points
Biotic Explosions Detonated 2 - 15 points
Throw Use - 20 points

If I am correct that should make my challenge points total 45. However my challenge level is at 25. Is this a bug or am i mistaken how to increase my challenge point level?

Ill look into it tomorrow

Manifest is working great now, thanks. :)

Is the raider tucked away anywhere in the challenges? I love it to bits but I couldn't see it anywhere likely (so under Shotguns or Blood Pack).

The raider might make an appearance yes

How come I need to get more points with the PPR than with the other assault rifles?

Unlike other assault rifles (DLC) it is only located inside the Assault Rifle mastery, so it requires the same amount as the DLC amounts are for

Then the Indra should be included with that right?

Quite possibly.

Technically Retaliation/The Patch was completed before we started releasing some of the new weapons. Cert is a really long timeline.

Be sure to check out the N7 HQ site – a companion to the latest Mass Effect 3 update and multiplayer pack (Retaliation) featuring the new MP challenge system.

In addition to the already available Galaxy at War information, you can now also see your (near) real-time progress towards the challenges, which characters you’ve unlocked, view your friends’ progress, and more.

N7HQ

Two problems I've noticed:
  • For PS3 players who got the Commendation Packs for Operation Goliath and Operation Raptor retrospectively the awards don't show up under "PAST WEEKEND CHALLENGE".
  • Single player DLC trophies don't show up under "Achievements".

Technically you didnt complete the challenge, we gave those packs out to every playstation player. Infact up until about 3 weeks ago, PS3 users could still get them if they hadn't

As for the other issue we are looking into the achievements

Will there be any special event challenges where you have only a limited amount of time to complete for a unique banner?

Edit: spelling.

More than likely, yes

Will players be informed of these challenges via the splash screen?  Also, do you have any guesses how long we'll have to complete these time sensitive events and how frequent these will be?

Similar to the weekend events I suppose, as for the splash screens possibly.

ot. I have almost 4 pages of replies in this thread >_>

Can I complete a sub-challenge several times in order to complete a challenge? For example, for Sniper Rifle Mastery, can I just do the same sniper rifle over and over, or do I actually need to use all the sniper rifles?

Dont need to do all but you cant repeat the same one over and over.

Anyways last reply of the night, see you all tomorrow

We can't look at other ppl's N7 HQ. Please fix this because now we can't advise ppl based on their manifest.

You can search them, or they can provide direct links.

I've been looking at the Blood Pack stuff and something is bothering me: why does Ballistic Blades need 50k points and Submission Net need 80k? Blades deal massive damage to large groups while the net deals low/average damage to 1-3 guys at a time. I got the Blades Challenge in less than 3 games but the Net is going to take weeks, probably.

Either BB is too easy or SN is too hard.

The promoting challenge start from 0 for every one...

Oh, no, since you already have our promoting times record

Why not apply our historic promoting record to challenge progress?

No the challenge system requires you to earn something, if we were to set values it wouldnt register properly and would cause that particular challenge to break, and everyone starts equally

Here's a question: in the Challenges database, what does "number of survival medals" mean? I've played plenty more than one game, and it says I only have one. Shouldn't I get credit for every Lone Survivor, Partial Extraction and Full Extraction? Or does it mean number of waves survived, in which case I should get credit for all three levels of that award as well?(3, 5, and 10)

Waves survived
3 waves = 1
5 waves = 2
10 waves = 3

Can we please be able to access challenges from the lobby? I seldom play with randoms, so we never leave the lobby and yet want to track our progress when playing.

I solve it now by having the iPad next to me with N7HQ, but a lobby option would be nice too.

Also, let me end with thanking you for both the Challenge system and N7HQ. I thought I was done with ME3MP, but this certainly has triggered my enthusiasm again.

No sorry, we found this would encourage people to sit in a lobby for far longer than the lobby is intended

Are there any plans to extend the http://n7hq.masseffect.com/ site to allow for editing of the characters including taking any that aren't configured (or have points left) and making changes to them through the web pages?
