I would like to see my shield warrior use the parry animation more often. Is it possible for someone to mod it so that the block/parry animation plays in place of other miss/dodge animations?
I think it would look awesome to see several blocks and and "ching" sound of steel on steel would give the fights a more movie feel.
Parry animation instead of Dodge?

I'm actually curious how the game determines whether an attack was blocked, avoided, or just plain missed. Is it entirely random, or is there some specific check that it does?
If the former I suppose there's some animation setting you could tweak but otherwise it has no real bearing on the game. If it's the latter that could open up some interesting possibilities.
