I wouldn't be so upset about this if the dang things hadn't been leaked already. Would have been great to be surprised with a new character each week, but now that I know they are done and I can't get them, its just disappointing.
Seriously, suck it up buttercup.
Say NO to 12 weeks for the new characters

It's to keep us playing. It's a fairly shrewd business strategy that preys on our insatiable appetite for DLC.
Also, stop it with the "free" arguments. BioWare does not love you or the playerbase. It is all about the money.
It is more like making a good thing last. Also I do care about the playerbase.
Then why are your nerfing our powers/weapons and buffing the enemies

Still doesn't entirely explain why the Geth (most buggiest faction thus far) needed a Drone which causes more problems with stagger, out of everything else.

if this works out the way i think it does then its great! my theory is that everytime new content is released, like new characters, weapons, dlc, etc, the drop rates for the URs and new stuff are increased exponentially for a few hours right after the release. as a person trying so very hard 2 max out my manifest now, it simply extends the period and chances i have to do so with the frequent boost to UR drop rates, at least, i hope thats how it works out....
hope in one hand and poo in the other. I bet I know which fills up first
im sorry but I'm a little upset at my manifest right now. 400 hrs and not one UR maxed FML:crying:

Owned! I think Bioware really does hate us! They give us tons of FREE DLC and updates, and they continue to support the MP to this day and forward. Yeah, they just want to make money on FREE dlc. /sacasm.
You really have no idea how a business operates, do you?
The developers, the ones in the trenches doing the coding, checking, and making may love us, but to the people in charge of the devleoper's paychecks, it's a business, we are customers, a business stays in the black by making profit that exceeds it's operational costs.
I have no doubt Bryan loves us, I am also under no illusions that to the bean counters and money providers that I am a payday.
Finally, someone who doesn't defend an opinion simply because it comes from a dev.

true but lets be real. there will always be a new way to farm. people will find other easy routes. having the bomber makes it alot harder to camp 1 spot.
for instance
rio-box of shame or LZ side of map with 1 on each side 1 in the middle and a floater
hydra-control room
condor - starting point area
glacier - basement (the original room of shame lol)
dagger - snipers nest
and there are others. not only taht but there are speedrun statgeis which can be aplied to any map once you learn the spawns no matter how its resdesigned.
There is no way to stop people form finding a good spot to hold the line in but by adding a unit that can fly and drop bombs on your holding spot, you have to learn to float like a buttterfly and sting like a bee :innocent:
