Stop complaining and get used to it.  They aren't unbeatable, they're just harder than what we're used to.  That was the point of creating them.  Keep playing.  You'll eventually figure out how to overcome them just like you did with everything before.

This kind of complaining is pointless and will probably lead to nerfs that you don't want.

I've seen this guy in games. He can use this power repeatedly with NO cooldown and stagger everyone over and over. It's ridiculous and not fair to other players! I'm reporting him to BW for CHEATING!! Hear me Mr. Tse??

Widow X + headshot = dead Dragoon on Gold.

Yes, I don't like it when they jump smash like a roided jackrabbit, but they aren't all that bad.

They're practically the new bosses.

So yeah, I agree with op, they're pretty powerful unless you're using explosive/incendiary/armor-piercing rounds.

Because it's just so absurd for Armor to be hard to punch through with anything other than armor-piercing mods.

The point is that they have nearly the same (possibly more?) armor as atlases and they jump around like phantoms, meaning it's very hard to hit them. Unless you're using some power on them (which rules out soldiers) then it takes forever to take them down.

just gonna throw this out there... how exactly will it lead to nerfs that we don't want?

Also... this is the kind of feedback that Bioware looks for, so.... yeah.

I just finished a Gold match and I don't see any of these issues the OP is having. They are like troopers very easy to kill.

-looks at past feedback then patch notes and balance changes- yes because we wanted the geth to be bugged even more and have even more stun lock and we wanted ourselvesto be nerfed to uselessness while the enemies get buffed to god mode ....

I honestly thought phantoms were still more deadly.

+ they have armor that don't regenerate.

The problem with Dragoons isn't how tough an individual Dragoon is, it's how many of them spawn in at once.

So the mistake that Bioware made here isn't in the unit design, but in the wave compositions.

I just did a gold solo with Cerberus in London. Good luck on a 1234 objective with an infiltrator. Its near undoable. You either get smashed just as the clock finishes or you don't even get to finish one disarm. They ignore cloak utterly and totally so kiting is worthless. Their speed ensures you can never get enough distance for you to disarm without getting whacked. And no divine intervention is going to help you on a small map.

They have 0 AI unlike a phantom and act like the geth. Its either lazy design or someone finds that total aggression is "challenging". Along with the geth bomber being the same, charge+stun+charge+repeat, i am finally truly getting tired of all this.

As long as you realize they're coming and have a plan to deal with them, Dragoons aren't that big of deal. The problem is when you're fighting a couple of Phantoms and all of a sudden 3-4 Dragoons show up, since they can put the entire squad on the ground in seconds. This can be especially annoying on smaller maps, since they move so fast.

As an MQI, I found Arc 'Nades especially effective for countering Dragoon swarms. I have them specced for shield damage, so they don't really do much damage, but the massive AOE stagger can put the entire group of Dragoons on their knees, buying precious seconds to fall back or focus fire.

Wait up a sec, Dragoons need to be nerfed? Have you ever fought a phantom? How about six? How many times has a phantom snuck into your group and gunned all of you down in approximately two and a half seconds. Dragoon nerf is shennanigans.

Dragoon bits everywhere.....

geth got buffed because they were by far too easy and everyone was camping on fbw to beat them (which was also the reason for the map edit)

and because a bunch of people thought it was too easy to beat them (which it was). The op isn't trying to just complain, they're giving feedback to bioware that the dragoon is slightly overpowered, which it is.

This is exactly opposite.... so your logic doesn't make sense.

Cerberus does seem tad too hard now, and before they were the easiest enemy... I mean now i'm happy to go up against phantoms rather than dragoons. How messed up is that? Definitely feels OP.

My Krogan Sentinel has been slapping around Dragoons all evening long. Their melee attack is slow and they stagger easily. The new Turians can even dodge the whip by executing a heavy melee attack.

My QME uses them for tech burst practice on gold. I end up using them to do extra damage to sneaky phantoms!

Dragoons are fine in and of themselves. They're a pretty good semi-boss type thing, kind of like the Ravager. The issue seems more to be that instead of being treated like that, they just replace Guardians in later waves. So on high difficulties you get a bunch of Phantoms and Dragoons at the same time swarming you. It's really more of a spawn change that is needed to balance that. Maybe one fewer phantom spawn and a couple Dragoons instead.
