It just doesn't make sense if you can't punch through armor with ordinary bullets.

...They ignore cloak utterly and totally so kiting is worthless. Their speed ensures you can never get enough distance for you to disarm without getting whacked. And no divine intervention is going to help you on a small map.
if you want to keep them as some kind of minibosses, then fine, but slow them down a bit, have a look at their spawn rate maybe as well, but for the love of the god, remove their x-ray vision

They die pretty easy but they can Smash over and over with no cooldowns. That would be the only change I think is good, an internal cooldown so they can't just spam Smash.

The Bioware freaked when placed on the same team, Phantons and Dragoons.
I'm not a bad player, I know the game well, almost always do my matches in gold, have mastery of all scenarios and know exploit the weaknesses of their opponents ... but this time, Bioware exaggerated.
Again I say ... BIOWARE, people play for fun, not to face hordes of invincible enemies! Those who want a greater challenge, which will play at Platinum. Have common sense and reduce the attributes of Dragoon!!
Balance means makes it a beatable opponent. At the moment, Dragoons are VERY strong. They're fast, as if they used an adrenaline module. Tough as it used a cyclonic modulator, cause more damage than most enemies and how rarely attack alone become a nightmare.
<_<
You're not a bad player? Well you're clearly not good either. Dragoons are easy to deal with and predictable. Any weapon or power which penetrates armour or debuffs armour hurts them badly. In addition to their predictable beserk charge. The only danger is the smash ability when they get close or when in combination with Phantom palm blast O'doom keeping you in cover.
I first fought Dragoons on Dagger in the sandstorm and still kicked their arse, with low visbility. It's doable.
the whines of balance are starting already. Frankly I would want bioware to improve the AI and make them dodge, roll, flank and take cover more. At the moment if you keep your wits about you they aren't that hard.

Explosive Rounds, meet Dragoon.
Or in the case of my Kroldier - Incendiary Rounds + Carnage*

They are fine, everything is fine, except the geth that now has a drone that frags and stuns you (more stun locks Bioware?).

The problem with Dragoons isn't how tough an individual Dragoon is, it's how many of them spawn in at once.
So the mistake that Bioware made here isn't in the unit design, but in the wave compositions.
Exactly!
That's the point. One or two Dragoons is not much problem.
But when you're in the waves 9, 10 and 11, playing in Gold, what happens is that arise Dragoons and Phantoms while surrounding and destroying his entire team in 8 seconds.
That's the point of exaggeration. Can not pick a target and focus, because the damage caused by the Phantoms and Dragoons attacking together is very high. Not to mention that Dragoons are immune to Stasis ...

What do they do?
They are our Phoenix Units on SPEED, with Armor, can move as fast as a Nemesis SILENTLY, can spam Smash and Heavy Melee faster that we can spam Conc. Shot, have Power Amp Xs, carry Hornet XXIVs, and come in hordes of 3+

Don't speak for everyone dude, They Are tough and ruthless because they're armoured, they're hard to kill comparing with the others but what was missing for Cerberus is such type.of.in-the-face enemy .
Those who complaining about them are definitely newbies or holiday players, there's so many way to Dodge These mindless berserkers' attacks or stun them, how hard could it be to kill them. I would say a processed collector captain.is your bigger concern.

- Their health(armor) scales up considerably more then other units between silver and gold. It was easily taking three times the amount of damage to bring down.
- Cerberus use to be limited to spawning 4 melee focused units (phantoms) at a time. They can now spawn 2 additional melee units with a 4 to 2 mix of Dragoons and Phantoms. I believe a pair of dragoons far out weights a single phantom, so this isn't a "fair trade."
- In addition to the smash spaming, the Dragoon has been spotted...
- Firing a burst from his smg at point blank immediately after a whip strike
- Leaping as part of its smash animation to cover several meters
- Using the Heavy Melee and horizontal swings with the whips.(though rarely)
- Dragoons can stomp and have been spotted stomping down players before their body even hit the ground.

Your suggestions are as pathetic (in the most literal sense of the word), as they are insultive.
Why would someone who has played Gold (happily) for the last six months want to change to a lower level, get lower payouts, and have to spend EVEN more time playing to achieve, what, a few mere days ago, they could do in HALF the time, huh?
HUH?
Change the ****ing NEW mechanics A-L-R-E-A-D-Y!
Players DON'T like them! It's that easy!
You may enjoy being forced to use oodles of consumables (which means you need to replace them by buying JEPs and VETs more frequently) and, THUS (ya?) not buy SPs or PSPs--fine.
I don't, and neither do my friends.
NERF required.
Nuff' said.
PS: Don't respond to this if you are stupid.
